Can you answer my question then as to where "they" say you should be aiming for all drinks in a cup (which sounds like you should be aiming for giving up bottles)?
At our one year check up when V was 13 months, the HV said that "she should be off bottles by now". She'll have water or juice from the sippy cup, but not milk.I'm quite happy for her to have her bedtime bottles of milk for another year at least.
Mel We've got the cheap Ikea cot too - it's really nice and there is absolutely no problem with it, unless you really need a drop side?
Hugs for Caz and Charlie. It's scarey how poorly they can become so quickly.
V seems to be over it now. A couple of wet poops earlier today, but she had loads for tea with no ill effects, and had bottle, and went to bed with no incidents!
L was sick at 6ish this morning, then 11ish on the bathroom floor. I asked if she'd not made it to the toilet in time, but she had, but was sitting on the toilet because she 'needed' too! Poor love! She's not been sick/diawoowoo since, but hasn't eaten anything either.
:T:j For clever rolling babies! :j:T:beer:0 -
Sami - that's why I like it, that and it was easier to chat to her whilst walking as we could see each others faces. I can count on one hand the number of times it forwards facing.
Hugs for L.
I have to be careful when have tummy bug as I have a habit of blacking out whilst I'm being sick. If I'm feeling sick I have to make sure I shut the bathroom door as our bathroom is so small that black out I'm at risk of banging my head on the door.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Personally, I don't give a shoite what anybody says - I am happy for Benjamin to take a bottle during the day until he is at least 18 months...or more if he wants/needs them. Probably for as long as he is a 'baby' and needs to nap during the day...maybe (not thought before I saw the discussion today)

Been to see the new Robert Patterson film tonight. T'was very good with an ending I didn't see coming!
Just popped on FB and a girl from school has put on there about the name for her new baby due in June. She already has a boy named Bailey and a Girl named Chardonnay and the new girl is going to be called Comfort (as in Southern anyone?) I think this girl has issues! Honestly I'm not that chavtastic (I apologise now if anyone has a child named any of these names )Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
what is Kai in now mel?
His cot...But it is white so I want a wooden coloured one to go into the boys room:p All the furniture in the small room is white and wooden in the bos room, I want it to match, am silly I know!!
3 - No I won't need a drop side...The white one that newbie will have does have a drop side but I barely ever used it tbh, so not bothered...as long as it keeps kai contained, and is nice and comfy for him...Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
