Woah, monster long post  and thats a monster memory you have there too!! Yep we moved it forward a week, it was going to be 11/06/2011 but its DSD's birthday on 13/06 so we thought it better to move it forward a week, then her birthday weekend wont be eaten up by our wedding and anniversaries in the future :)
Wow, I surprised myself there! Have you got lots still to organise? I LOVE weddings. I haven't been to one since my own in 2008 but have got one this year.
Choppy (and anyone else going back to work) - we specifically told the CM that we did not want to know if Benjamin took his first steps / spoke his first words with her. We wanted to pretend that he did everything for the first time with us. Slightly kidding ourselves maybe but hey ho!
I like it. I want to be the one (or hubby) who discovers that Caitlin can do things for the first time. I'm glad Caitlin crawled yesterday for him before he went away so he could see it before other people.

Ooh, thank you. I knew about that but had forgotten IYSWIM.

Scruffy - hugs to you for a horrible OH and hugs to a poorly El.

hmmmm could be ... Dylan decided that his dinner would look better on my top than in his tummy tonight _pale_ lovely !!

I quoted this to ask if he was poorly, but then saw your reply to scruffy saying that it was the reflux. Do you know yet where your course is when you next come over?
Thanks for that, we kinda do something similar at the minute apart from the bath, he gets bathed during the day when he is awake as by night time he usually sleeps then wakes for feed then sleeps etc and I didnt think to wake him for bath.

He usually gets fed at like 6pm or something then gets swaddled and sleeps in his moses basket downstairs then he wakes at 9pm or 10pm for a feed, we feed him, swaddle him then take his moses basket upstairs, we then sometimes go to bed or sometimes not lol

Then on a good night lol he will wake at 12 or 1 for a feed then, about 3 or 4 (sometimes 6) then he wakes up again at 8 (depending on what time his last feed was)

So it looks like we need to introduce the waking him for a bath, when we put him in our bedroom we leave the lamp on though as when we go to bed OH likes to read a bit and we thought it was better that the light is on already so we dont wake him when we go to bed?

I agree with SJ, you sound like you've already got him into a good routine. I agree with leaving the lamp on. We've found that Caitlin would go to sleep with or without a lamp on. When she was downstairs with us in the moses basket, it was the height of summer so very light but she was fine. When she went into her own room, we put a nightlight on, but it was more for us than her, so we could just see enough if we needed to go into her for any reason.

Elle - you'll be great today :D. Try and enjoy it (if that's possible?!?) xxx

Hope everyone has a good time at the meet.

Best of luck today elle - hope it goes ok.

Thanks to everyone who filled in my survey for me. About 3/4 of the people who voted seem in favour so I'm going to write it as a business plan to open the shop. I'll get cracking on that today.

Got my essay on management strategy back. I found it really hard and thought I'd done pants, but I got 75% on it. Chuffed to bits with that :j
Here I go again on my own....

GISI - well done on the sleeping through. Hope the nursery visit goes well.

Glam - does that mean he'll still be able to pay you rent though if he hands in his notice?

I'm off now, so will see you all later

    Morning all,

Just having a cup of tea and a browse before getting ready for the meet.

Yay for sleeping babies. I have no idea what time Katie came in our bed but she was there when the alarm went off at 6.30am.

    Good Luck Elle.
Hope the nursery goes OK GISI
    That's fantastic Beccles.

Katie can go to sleep with or without the lamp on, we have a touch lamp with 3 levels on it and it's on the other side of the room so on the lowest setting it quite dim.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Morning everyone! Stupid hungry baby milk had the same effect on K last night as it did the last time I used it! Made him hungry earlier!!!! Been up since 4.45am zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
    Will get Hipp goodnight today.

I need ideas at the moment K has a bouncy chair that hes about outgrown so almost redundant, and a sit me up cosy from the ELC that he likes to hang his head upside down til it touches the foor so looking like thats heading for the attic too.
He has a blanket that he plays on the floor on and a door bouncer, his walker and a baby gym thing he still likes but I'm looking for something he can sit in contained(!) with his toys thats not a travel cot. At the moment I can't even nip out of the room without him getting into bother!
I was thinking mabe a ball pit or something? What do other people have?
