Jenny - the kite day sounds fun but am not sure we're ready for that kinda adventure just yet! Maybe in a few more weeks. Hope you and always and anyone else who go have fun tho!

Well decided the cover for the change unit needed washing as it was starting to look decidedly poo stained ( eeeww!) but it can't be tumbled so waiting for it to dry atm and so changing T on the bathroom floor, which is not a big deal except for a very curious dog lol

SS, just looked up where you'll be...not sure what your plans are while you're over here, but if want to make a family-style day out-esque time of it, I'm sure DH would happily drive us all down to Ashdown Forest. If you're thinking more lunch or a few hours in a coffee shop with just the ladies, then it needs to be near a train station b/c I don't drive. But East Grinstead is easy enough to get to (as is Tunbridge Wells). Anyway, just a thought! You might be a builder called Dave :p

Let me talk with the husband since it is his birthday weekend - but it is also mine so we'll see ;)

yes abroad, hoping for Rome/other italian place /other european place.
We shall be kick starting ttc while away hopefully! :D

sorry gotta run off now, NOT feeling good! :(

Rome can be a bit of a hellhole in the height of summer because of all the heat and the tourists and such. But if you're splurging on the hotel I know a very romantic one I can recommend (we went there on our honeymoon), it's about < > this far from the Trevi Fountain on a quiet side street and is one of three rooms in an apartment where the guy turns up to check you in and give you keys and then you only see him when he brings in breakfast. There's an excellent restaurant right downstairs too.

    Hugs for scruffy :grouphug:

I need to tell you this then I really will shut up about A's sleeping as I an't imagine it's nearly as interesting to anyone other than me... but Ibdecided I wanted another good sleep last night so hubby stayed up i order to give A his first night feed (carton this time as no ebm)

A didn't really stir until 2am! DH went to him then but he only took 20ml and screwed up his face. Hevwent back to sleep til 4am when Ib went to him and tried him again with the formula as I wanted to rule out him not liking it (even though he's had it before) he took about 110ml and went back to sleep!

He woke about 6am, I got up but left him as long as my boobs could take it, til 6.30 and brought him downstsirs and am feeding him now!

I'm seriously hopeful we will be on just 1 night feed very soon!

Now I'm going to read back a bit before I get us ready for the meet

Oh my, am I first up? H decided not to go back to sleep after his 5:15 feed, but I guess that means he slept through as 7-5:15 was unbroken. He is, of course now asleep on his blanket down here.

Hugs to Scruffy and also anyone with poorly little ones.

Off to look at a nursery today. Only arranged to look at one so far but must sort some more out.

    Hope everyone enjoys the meet.

GISI beat you to posting but you were up first!! Yey for sleeping through!

Scruffy (((hugs))) hope LO is better soon, 7 weeks is a long time. Hope you are ok too x
Thanks for that, we kinda do something similar at the minute apart from the bath, he gets bathed during the day when he is awake as by night time he usually sleeps then wakes for feed then sleeps etc and I didnt think to wake him for bath.

He usually gets fed at like 6pm or something then gets swaddled and sleeps in his moses basket downstairs then he wakes at 9pm or 10pm for a feed, we feed him, swaddle him then take his moses basket upstairs, we then sometimes go to bed or sometimes not lol

Then on a good night lol he will wake at 12 or 1 for a feed then, about 3 or 4 (sometimes 6) then he wakes up again at 8 (depending on what time his last feed was)

So it looks like we need to introduce the waking him for a bath, when we put him in our bedroom we leave the lamp on though as when we go to bed OH likes to read a bit and we thought it was better that the light is on already so we dont wake him when we go to bed?

Thanks for your bedtime routine as well GISI and Aless and MDW

    Hugs Scruffy

OK I really have to go to bed now, night all xxx

Sounds to me like you already have a "routine" in that the times are constant-ish. What time did you want bedtime to be? How about just starting to push back that 6pm feed a bit each day, maybe try pushing back the feed before that it a bit too, keep him distracted to make him last a bit longer each day, then fit your bath in either before or after that feed, then put him upstairs to bed instead of keeping him downstairs til his next feed? Then it's pretty much sorted!

Elle good to see you are up early - good luck for work today. That t shirt is fab BTW, I might get myself one of those.
