We've got lots of lovely summer dresses and want pretty summer sandels. Dresses are no good for crawling in.


We think V thinks the dogs name is DET DOWN now. She says it to him all the time, even when he's not up!

Morning ladies,

sorry I dissapeared last night, major excitement at chez boo. Isla took a bottle! :j With no tears or screams just happily chugged it back off OH. Admittedly it was only 1oz but that's a 100% improvement so there's hope I can have a baby free night out for my 30th birthday :beer: (Aless, there's hope for Finn yet)

Gisi - it's not cruel, H look's really happy in there. I hope you manage to get some time off soon. It seem's so long ago we were both on the preg thread wishing bumps would hurry up and now it'd be quite nice to have 5 minutes off please :cool:

Always I too have a tonne of housework to do but there's a chance the MIL might call round this afternoon so I'm sorely tempted to go out for the day so I'm not in I'm not in the mood for a discussion on my parenting techniques.

Going to read back now, hope everyones well.

Morning!

Christopher was up every hour last night feeling sick and with a sore tummy, so I had to sit till he fell asleep with my hand on his tummy (he wouldn't use the hot water bottle). Ended up being sick at 6am, went back to sleep and woke up fine. Think it was because he didn't eat his dinner, so will need to make sure and offer him toast or cereal (even though it feels like he's winning by not eating his dinner).

Raining again so no idea what I'm going to do with them.

Yay for taking a bottle! We found that Benjamin needed to be hungry but not starving when hubby gave him a bottle and that I needed to be out of the way. The minute Benjamin got upset there was no way he would take one.

Caz got Erin to take one by wrapping it in her T-shirt.

If I had another I would definitely introduce a bottle by 6 weeks, or as soon as BF is well established, to prevent problems. Loads of my RL mummy friends have babies who won't take a bottle at all.


Why don't you use your MIL being there to do the housework (in another part of the house of course!!!)



I have now not been BF for 5 days, nothing to report on my boobies, they appear not to have noticed!! When can I go and be measured for a new bra? I don't think I have changed that much but would like to check (and to have the excuse to buy new bras )

Mel, OH's kept breaking. It either wouldn't turn on/off then the volume kept going funny and he take's it back to the apple shop (he bought it at O2) and they've repaired it for him. Last time he took it the man said 'oh, the backs a bit scratched, I'll give you a new one' It was 10 months old at the time. :T

I've been wondering how long the milk takes to disappear - it's almost a month since Alice actually fed (and it was two weeks before that) but I still have milk.
