Anyone planning to watch the live birth on Five on Sunday? can't make my mind up whether it's a good idea or not - first baby and don't want the wits scared out of me!

Still waiting for it to be delivered though, paid last Wednesday - they said it was sent by courier on Monday...

My first order took a week to arrive. I ordered a couple more bits on Tuesday and they arrived today!

Mine came through Parcel Line courier.
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks. They've just sent me through the consignment number and it certainly looks like it's parcel line that are holding things up. Annoying, just want the stuff packed in my labour bag!

Thanks for the advice about my babies head being engaged. As its my first baby, you never know what to expect. I was 4/5 engaged 2 weeks ago, and 3/5 this time.

I should have 3 weeks to go too. I've got my bag all packed, but i still need to write in my notes what my birth plan is. I think i should probably stop putting it off.

nighties - my sister picked me up some primark ones in a much bigger than my normal size, and they were £3 each. A big saving on my mothercare one.

and as for the channel 5 programme  I have already had to watch 2 different videos on giving birth, and i think i'll be skipping that one. I watched the robert winston one from the bbc series, which you can see bits of on the web, and the few minutes i saw had me in tears. The poor woman was in agony and her husband was sat grinning like a cheshire cat. If mine does that i will be having words with him.

I've spent today washing some of my clothes, and some of the babies stuff. My sister gave me some stuff but it smells really smoky to me, so everything, including the new stuff is getting a quick wash. Hopefully i'll have time to do this and get it ironed and put away before the little one arrives.

We'll have to see who's arrives first purplepatch. :D

    back to the nesting anyway.
    Michelle, xx

Ah, well I'm cheating a little.

Don't know if you saw my earlier posting about not being sure whether to try natural or elective c section, but in the end I plumped for elective on 30/10 which is 2 days after my due date. Figured I'm giving natural a fair chance, but with DD having been 10 days overdue, I suspect nature might be given a little helping hand ;)

Bless her. Makes me realise what its all for when I see lovely little pics like that.

OH has gone off to some car boots again. He's managed to pick up a box full of clothes for up to 1 year of age for only a few pounds. Far better deal that our shopping trip yesterday at Pumpkinpatch.

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.
