My LO is now 8 months! The time has flown so quickly-it REALLY does!
Keep a diary of things baby does if you get chance-wish I had! You do forget very quickly. And lots of piccies..
best of luck to you all and what a great read!

Another good idea is I got a diary from the pampers pregnancy pack. Ive been keeping upto date with it and its great to read back. Now ive been putting in my bumpys movements, how I've been sleeping and feeling etc...
Good idea if you have a problem and can keep track of it....
Wish i did one for my dd-now a big girl of 4 1/2 and at big school:eek:
BTW all the newly pregnant ladies MANY CONGRATS!!Cant wait to meet Bumpy!:j0 -

Am gutted just found this out, my due date is 27th feb dont think i can cross my legs for a month!!
Crossing legs wont help I'm afraid, the entitledment is based on due date not delivery date, mums due after 1st april but who deliver early still get the 9 months, mums due before then but deliver late don't get the extra 13 weeks paid
this does seem a bit unfair, as £1400 is a lot of money.:mad:ISA £1675MiniMoohound savings £3685.86 :T Plus £3800 CTF

yeah it does seem unfair but then you have to have a cut off date at some point! Mind you thats easy for me to say my OH was given an estimated date of 28th March but then revised to 3rd of April on the dationg scanWe were very very chuffed with the revised date!

If - like me - you're starting to get jealous of 'normal' clothes, cheer yourself up with this discount at funmum.com
You'll get 15% off if you use the code PBM3108 when ordering. :j
Haven't had anything from there yet, trying desperately to stick to the basics and not splash out - being v good so far.
Also, little money-saving tip from me. Don't buy a special maternity coat. There are lots of lovely ponchos and shawls around and you can just wear these over your usual coat.
I now officially can't do up any of my coats and am off to M&S for a poncho next week. Seen a lovely grey wool one for £20 and I'll definitely wear it afterwards, so no money lost!:money:MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -
congratulations to oueyouey and anyone else who has added themselves to the list.
I went for a midwife appointment yesterday, and little pud was 3/5 engaged. Anyone any idea how long that might take me now? The midwife made me another appointment for in 2 weeks time, but i'm not sure i'll make it till then.
The best news was, because i'm in a surestart area, they have TENS machines they can loan out. I was given one yesterday. All you have to do is return it with a battery, which DH can get at whole sale cost from work of £1.I was a bit reluctant to hire one from mothercare at £40 as i wasn't sure i'd use it,but i'm quite happy to have one for free.
hope the rest of you are doing well,

I was told my sons head was engaged on a Friday, and he was born the following Wednesday. Don't go too far away from home!
For people developing bumps, I've found this ebay shop. They sell chain store overstocks, and I've recieved some lovely items from them. Highly recommended.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Bump2BabeHere I go again on my own....0 -
With DD1 she was engaged quite early, about 34 weeks I think, but nearly 2 weeks late actually being born!!
Second babies apparently don't bother to engage often until the onset of labour, so this time I'm nearly 37 weeks and head is still totally free.0 -

Blimey, I ordered from them last week too - small world.
Still waiting for it to be delivered though, paid last Wednesday - they said it was sent by courier on Monday...
Wouldn't be too bothered ordinarily, but it's a couple of nursing nightshirts for hospital and I've only got 3 weeks left!0
