Thanks everyone for all the bra advice, think I'm going to go to M&S for a proper fitting and then will probably look for the cheapest bra that isn't too ugly I can find.

That's for SMP/MA, but check with your employer as they may pay you extra.

Am gutted just found this out, my due date is 27th feb dont think i can cross my legs for a month!!

If you want to be measured by them, you need to book a appointment. Esp if its a busy day.

I tried one saturday to be told 'we are full up can you come back another day?' mmmm wasnt happy bunny!

I didn't have to book in Mothercare, although the store was quiet when I was in.

RE: Maternity pay, it's your due date that counts, not the actual birth date. Oddly someone who's due date is April but who's baby arrives in March will get 9 months, but if your baby is due in March, but doesn't arrive till April, you'll just get the 6 months

Hello everyone- delighted to have found this thread- don't post very often but am an avid MSE reader. Can I add myself to your merry band of mums and dads to be? I'm Emma, 31, living in Hull with my DP Russ- unfortunately we lost our little boy late in pregnancy last year and we've now got all our fingers and toes crossed for this little one, due 11th April (but probably induced 2 or 3 weeks early due to what happened).

Hope I can contribute with some tips and bargains that I find on my travels! Thanks.
