May as well own up, it didn't happen this time. This trying to conceive is really hard it seems. Anyway, when I got my period I was really upset and I still can't shake the feeling of depression a few days on. I hope I don't feel like this every time... I feel I haven't smiled in days. Hopes up or what?

How long have you been trying, may i ask?

That's the thing you see. It was my first cycle! And I know it may take longer. 25% chance if you're healthy and all that. I really don't know why I took it so badly. It's not like I'm sad about anything, just feeling depressed. It's like I have PMT, just two weeks late. Weird.

Woo-Hoo! At least the threads have been merged - getting a headache flitting between the two!

Talking of headaches - whats the latest on paracetomol??? It seems to change after each child I have! And I have had a headache constantly for the lasts 11 weeks!

But - finally have my first scan date - going on Tuesday!

Hi all, havent read the whole thread as i'm too excited!
i have just found out i'm to be an aunty!! woo hoo!!
Anyways, my sis asked me if there is any books anyone could recommend, i've given her a few websites to look at.
She basically wants to get a book which covers everything about pregnancy, what foods to east and stuff like that, she's loaded so doesnt matter about the price or buying it,
    TIA xx!

I'd tell her to get down to the library! I found that different books gave different advice and it's a case of finding a style you like. If she finds she likes Ms Stoppard she can then go buy her book, if she likes Gina Ford tell her look for another one :rotfl:

Seriously, though, they do differ greatly and there's such a variety on the market that I'd try before I buy.

Me and My Husband got married in July and started trying for a baby.

On Monday I found out I'm pregnant. I'm so excited and can't wait for the 9 months to be over so I can meet my baby.

I'm only 5 weeks at the moment and just like the other I want to buy everything.

We agreed to wait till 3 months to tell friends & family but I don't know if I can wait that long.

    Can I join your club?

    Congratulations and welcome:)

I know what you mean ... with my first I vowed to wait a minimum 12 weeks ... caved in and 'announced at about 6 weeks!!! (mind you I had to tell people really because they might have got suspicious at me throwing up all day long;) )

Have you spoken to Dr/MW? in some areas you get a dating scan at about 10 weeks ... so if they offer those scans in your area ... you might not have to wait that long to see your little one.

    take good care,xxpp05
