still getting the sickly feeling every day, which is so unlike me, but maybe its just the nerves of wandering or maybe im convincing myself of all these signs................

    its soooooo hard waiting.............

big Hugs Emma, but you are right, stressing about things can delay your period and you could be making yourself sick with the stress - stress effects us all in very different ways.

This is easy for me to say I suppose, but chill! It will happen at some point.

How many days late are you? I know you hate this waiting game, but I would suggest that you do nothing for a week, go and do something different to help relax and if nothing shows by the end of a week, test again. Then go and see a doctor and see what he/she says if its still negative - remember that sometimes, in the early stages, the protien needed to change the result is not strong at all and doesn't show up.

I agree as I said in my previous post my results for my 2 sons changed within a week. So although it is hard I would do as suggested above try to relax and not think about it concentrate on something else. Before you know it another couple of days will have passed, then you could try again. I agree if you still get neg result see doc just to be sure.

Feeling down again today. Spent the afternoon using some online website to re-arrange the furniture to fit in babe - and have been pulling my hair out, but managed to squeeze it in.

I hate my life. This is not what I signed up for. This is not where I expected to be in my early 30's when I was 18 (but I suppose who does). On the verge of bankruptcy, teeny-weeny house (I have a bed I suppose!), kids that hate me (okay - the teens do!) - do I really need another baby in my life? Not sure I can face 5 kids in the house.

And each baby has got bigger as they went along - this one is destined to be massive - I collasped with exhaustion on the last one and I cant face that again.

    Oh woo is me.......................................

To cap it all off, I can't have a glass of wine, and I have run out of chocolate.

    (sob, sob)

Hi Emma - I'm guessing you're about 3 days late now? Don't want to give you false hope but wanted to share my experience. I did a pregnancy test when i was 5 days late which came back negative and then did the next one when i was 10 days late (I sent my df to buy this one and he rang me up from the supermarket to ask if i had picked up the menopause test kit my mistake as they look similiar and thought this was why the result was negative. I "calmly" said to him DO YOU THINK THE A MENOPAUSE TEST WOULD SAY "IF THE PINK DOT APPEARS IN THE WINDOW YOU ARE PREGNANT"!! - HORMONES!!! :male: :wall: ) the came back positive this time. These were both done using the "Predictor" home pregnancy test. Then i had to go to doctors to have the positive test result confirmed officially as they don't "believe" the results of a home pregnancy test, waited 5 long days for the "official" results and when i rang for the results i found out the receptionists hadn't marked the sample bottle up correctly and the lab wouldn't test it, had to wait a further week to receive the good news! By which time i was very stressed out as i thought i was about 10 weeks pregnant and hadn't seen anyone medical wise apart from the doctors receptionist. Just wanted to back up what Charlotte said really and try not to stress out as it doesn't help but i do know what you are going through

Big hugs to Charlotte by the way, hope that you're feeling better
