Friend had no discharge during the night but then this morning it started again. She got pregnancy test, different one to the one mentioned previously, which shows negative although when done 2 days in advance it is 84% accurate.

emma I did a test on the day my period was due and it was negative retested 5 days later and it was positive so it is possible but (and I know this is hard)try not to get your hopes up.

I also got a 12 week scan and a 20 week one as standard we are having a private sexing scan in just over a week as our local nhs trust no longer tells you the sex of the baby. We will be paying £80 for just sexing but prices vary you can find out which places are near you via a searchengine. ( you could also try and say that you are not sue when you had your last period or say you had only a days bleed with your last period so that you are not sure how far you are some places that do not offer 12 week scans routinely will then offer a dating scan but this is in effect lying)

I have now had had 4 scans and am looking forward to my private one next week!! We had a private one done while visting my family in Holland so my mum could come along (very cheap there only paid £35 and got a video and 4 pics for that as well) and I also had an extra scan last week as my ds had a hole in his heart but all apears well with the baby!!!

84% is not a high enough % for me personally to be sure the neg is indeed a neg. I'd wait till the weekend and see if her period shows up and do another test then.

If she has a Savers nearby then they do good enough tests for £1, or predictor ones are cheaper than high street chemists.

She says her period should be here within the next 48 hours.

i kow i shouldnt get my hopes up its just soooo hard not to think of it all the time, although im conscious that could delay my period, which is why id rather test and know, and get on with it, my last period was 6 days late but i had tested on 4th day so didnt worry about it.

this one i just have a feeling but maybe im getting my wires crossed, and i used a clearblue which are meant to be thew good ones and can pick up hcg 4 dyas early?

rchddap1..i remember you postign you were preg i think, as we found out similar times, i found out march and would have been 27 weeks gone by now..you right it would have flown by, but the last three mths havent flown by for me ..

will keep you posted anyway and keep your fingers and toes crossed for me, thankyou for replying, its doing myhead in waiting!

I hope you get the result you want...but if not, relax and try again. When someone decides to put in an appearance they'll be even more special.

OH and I have been giving bean a little personality...its only a make believe one, but its fun and gets everyone involved...even my step daughters.
