Congratulations to everyone who's given birth and is expecting.

I had my midwife come out for my booking appointment last week and were talking about where i wanted to have 'bun' :D, i told her i didn't really want to go back to hospital if i could help it and she was reassuringly supportive if i wanted to go for a home birth, plus we're only a 2 minute drive away from the local hospital if i would need to go in.
I can't believe how much things have changed since having DS nearly 4 yrs ago, i have got a number to ring on wednesday to book an appointment for my first scan, yippee!!

My sickness is starting to kick in now aswell as my 'pregnancy brain' :D as my work colleagues have well found out!!
Am getting quite excited now but will relax a lot more once i have had that first scan.

    Good luck to everyone else.
If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.
    ROCK IT DON'T STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BE GOOD OR BE GOOD AT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if anything I did started my labour off, but two days before I gave birth we did the curry/bath/bedroom activites routine, which resulted in 3 hours of contractions but ultimately came to nothing. Then on the night I gave birth, I'd had pineapple (but it was tinned, not fresh), a bath, and more bedroom activities (I know, I know, I couldn't really be bothered either  :D).

But I think I probably would have had her that night anyway, even without the 'home induction' lol.

My MIL has offered to pay for our 4D scan as baby would not keep still at my NHS 20w scan! There is a clinic near by and we are thinking of this package for £90:

    15 minutes (approx) scan time
    Sexing of baby if required
DVD of approximately 5 minutes with music to watch again and share with loved ones at home.
CDrom containing all your images taken throughout your session
2 High quality glossy photographs of your choice

    What does everyone think?

I'd say go for it, sounds like a reasonable price, I've seen a lot worse! Especially since MIL is paying :rotfl:

I wonder what sort of music the DVD is going to have   Baby Love? :rotfl:

I was being a very MSE DIL by choosing the middle priced package - I should have gone the whole hog as she agreed to pay before we mentioned prices ;)

Oh, never thought of the music! Might email them now and ask :rotfl:

I went to a fitness in pregnancy talk today. Two girls passed out during the one hour session! Hubby said it was because the therapist was soooo boring hee hee. It seriously wasn't even hot in the room.
And I still have no idea how to do pelvic floor excercises.

And just to say Nadnad, I am so sorry.
