Just a thought - does anybody else think it would be a good idea to keep two seperate lists of the Mums-To-be & TTC and the Birth List(s).
They are just so long now and the birth list goes back to last July. I'm not suggesting that they are removed - just listed seperately. For example, I would just add my EDD to the Mum To Be list and post this. When babes arrives, I'd just copy and paste the birth list - rather than copy out both great big long lists whenever anybody adds any details.
Any thoughts? Would it get too confusing? Would it get too confusing? 0 0

congratulations to all the new arrivals - what a busy week!!!
im 23 weeks now, just wanted to ask about movement, i was getting really strong kicks but this last week have hardly felt anything, although i have felt some movement, just not as much or as strong as before. i have been working though and wasnt beofre that so could that be why?
 its been driving me barmy.
any tips on "encouraging" movement? or feeling it better? i usually lay down.
I find mine goes through phases - sometimes I hardly feel him at all except for the odd movement first thing in the morning or last thing at night and at other times he won't keep still. I've heard that if baby has turned so that they're facing into your body then you feel less as limbs aren't poking outwards. I've also heard that when you're moving a lot and busy your movements send baby to sleep whereas when you're quiet and still baby will be more active and awake. A cold glass on your belly will usually get a response
It really is normal for there to be variations in movement and nothing to worry about. If you don't feel any movement then that's different.0

sounds like a good idea to me it is a long list which is great as it means you can spot it but I find posts get a bit lost if 2 or 3 people are quoting the list on a page.Just a thought - does anybody else think it would be a good idea to keep two seperate lists of the Mums-To-be & TTC and the Birth List(s).

I am seething that this has happened as it was the hospital that suggested induction and now it is not happening. Called again at 15:00 as advised only to be told that I should of been phoned to say it was not possible and they apologise.
I have to call again now in the morning at 08:00 but I am not holding out much hope. I am starting to wonder how many days they are going to put me off. All twinges have stopped so no signs of natural labour.
At this rate I will still be pregnant next month!!!
what on earth would they do if you went into labour naturally and had to come in NOW? thats the thing with full term babies, when they have decided its time... there isnt a lot of stopping them! and they dont care how busy the maternity ward is...
phone them up and calmly tell them your in a lot of pain, your coming in and your not leaving without your baby! 0 0

            Hi Everyone,
Have been to hell and back in the last 2 days. Had some bleeding on Friday afternoon, so phoned my doctor. He booked me in for an emergency scan on Saturday morning at the hospital. So we went to the hospital and I had an internal scan.
Basically they couldn't see anything horrendous, and if my dates are wrong and I am only 5 weeks pregnant, then it looked normal, but if my dates are right and I am 7 weeks pregnant then it is much too small. They couldn't see anything in the embryo sack, but that is usual for 5 weeks, but would not be usual for 7 weeks.
In the end they decided that they would wait 10 days and scan me again. If it shows normal growth development and they can then see something in the sac then everything is ok.
It could have been worse, but I know I am not going to relax properly until I have this next scan on the 23rd May. Seems ages away.
Also, to top it all, my sickness and tiredness are both getting worse!!
Everyone please cross your fingers that my little bump's ok.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

((((((((hugs)))))))) What an awful weekend, Flis. Is there any way you could be wrong with your dates? (fingers crossed that you are). I'm sure everything will turn out well and the 23rd will come around sooner than you think....

Flis please try not too worry too much, (yeah....right!)
i am 100% certain of my dates but the midwife i saw said the baby was measuring nearly a week less, and that is a really common thing.
add to that the fact there could have been a delay in implantation, or your baby is being difficult already (just like its dad i imagine ) and two weeks suddenly doesnt seem like a lot. ) and two weeks suddenly doesnt seem like a lot.
I am a member of a few pregnancy forums and have seen a lot of posts very much like yours and most of the time everything has turned out ok,
Infact i remember one mum saw 2 gestational sacs at an early scan, one with a 7/8 week feotus in it and the other had nothing, the doctor told her not to expect that one to develop,
she now has very healthy twin girls keeping her awake all night!
so although it must be very difficult for you, hopefully it helps to know that stories like yours turn out positive a lot of the time.
mother nature is a weird old bird... you never know what she is up too!0

Flis, i just wanted to say that EXACTLY the same thing happened to me, bleeding, thought i was 7 weeks (was defo of dates) scanned me said i was 5 weeks or missed MC, went back in a week and i was 7 weeks (still dont get it!) and all was fine. all they saw at first scan was embryo sac and pole. no hbeat, which is what they said they should have seen. but the week after was beating away. sickness is a good sign they say, mine was horrendous.
 im now 23 weeks.
good luck hun and PM me if you want xxxxxxxxxxx0
