Snaggles

Just updated the list - I gave birth to a girl, Natasha Grace on 9th May - waters broke at 2am after having 3 strange twinges, 2 minutes apart. Gave birth at 3.24am!! Can't believe it was so quick, nearly gave birth in the hospital corridor on the way to delivery suite lol!

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I feel

Hope all the other new Mums and Mums to be are feeling okay and doing well.

Flis - like emma_b the same happened to me too.....bled every week from wks 6-13 (I put many a paranoid post on here). I am now 23wks and all is well (touchwood)....They couldn't see anything on my first scan either at 6 weeks but could at 8 weeks. Sending lots of babyglue and hugs your way...try to rest if u can. Take care

Good luck flis21, hopefully it's nothing to worry about as it seems to be very common. Bet you can't wait for your next scan!

I went to Primark today in search of nice maternity/breastfeeding bras. The girl there looked at me as if I was an alien when I asked if they had maternity bras, so the answer was no. :rolleyes: I did get a nice non-wired bra for just £3, but they only go up to a D-cup, so I'll have to see if it'll fit. I'll have to email their customer services and ask them which stores stock maternity. The store I went to is brand new and supposedly one of the largest in the country or something.

Snaggles, enough with stories like that - I'm an hour from my nearest hospital! Seriously, what a great way to do it - delighted for you!

Thanks for your supportive posts. It is quite possible that the dates are out as I have very irregular periods usually anyway. So fingers crossed that is all it is. My sickness seems to be getting worse daily and lasting for most of the day, so hopefully that is a good sign. The next 10 days are going to go sooo slowly tho!
