  • Please can the mod who moved this tell me why? I thought it belonged in the discussion forum as its not technically moneysaving, more chat!

    Many thanks

  • Sorry Glad, just seen your post in the other thread/link I did to direct people.

    I didn't realise that wasn't allowed.

    Thanks.

Well, after posting this morning and being in an emotional state (!), I haven't felt half as sick this afternoon and therefore been able to put my sensible head back on!

So, put together a draft shopping list - I really need to know how much and when to start saving! Although the younger 2 are only 4 and 2yr's, the stuff we used for them is either falling apart or sold last year - as is always the case when you don't expect more kids!

But I am happier about it than my first post! I think that seemed a little down!

We have decided to leave it a few weeks before we tell the older two (12 and 15!) They are going to be so cross! Currently the little 2 are in our room and the big 2 in the other.

We were going to split the living room in half to give OH and I our own small room - thats not going to happen now. The 4 girls are all going to have to share! :rotfl: I can see lots of arguments on the horizon!

Well, its nice to see so many people on here - all with different tales!

  • Hi ... Im 17 weeks tomorrow with number 3 !! think this will be a pretty cheap pregnancy in comparison to other 2, as we have a boy and girl already ..... just hoping my friends keep to thier word and return those items that they borrowed !!
why is it when ever im pregnant dh announces we are on a money saving mission ..... thought joining this board last year would help in preparation for events this year ..but no he has already started laying down the law !!! have won the loft conversion debate however ..just need to get builder motivated in the heat !!!

    i'm bikerqueen i'm 38 weeks, first baby and she's a girl.
  • Can I join in too? I'm not pregnant (well I hope not) but my daughter is 38 weeks pregnant and this will be our first grandchild. She has bought the mamas and papas Pliko Pramett and the car seat, she bought the pram online at https://www.babyunique.co.uk and I believe she paid about £249.99 for the pram which was a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

She ended up buying the car seat that went with it from Boots as they had an offer at the time.

It's a lovely pram, not too big so will fit in car but baby can still lay out in it.

I'm Claire and pregnant with number 3 - a girl ( we've already one of each).

My due dates TOMORROW :j :j :j :j and she can come out anytime shes ready I'm majorly fed up now as I have suffered from SPD and Sciatica from 12 wks  I can only move with crutches now. I had a sweep yesterday so I'm hoping something will happen this weekend as they said my cervix was very favourable :D

This heat and my SPD have made me in a miserable whining monster and OH & kids would like the old me to come back lol

Anyway good luck all you mums to be and I throughly recommend a paddling pool to lie/sit in - its a god send

    Sympathies!! :o

I've had SPD twice now and am already getting twinges (ie. pain!) with this one!

Sending all my (good!) labour vibes your way. I had a sweep with my second and was in labour within 8 hours, so good luck!!!!!!!
