Can anyone help me please? My doggie had a few 'accidents' this morning in the kitchen and I can't clean it up. Gagging too much. Is there any way to stop this?

I've had that problem! The best way to deal with it was to open all the doors and windows for 10 minutes and then attempt to clean it up. It didn't smell as bad that way, and I didn't gag as much :o

You have to be careful dealing with pet poo during pregnancy, especially cat poo - toxoplasmosis. Best get hubby to deal with it in future ;)

Congrats Charlotte - your fourth?!! What ages are they all?

when does bump start to show?

im 13 weeks now and some days i feel my belly is right out , as MW said it will "pop" out i think im literally expecting a POP! but then other times i think there nothing more than the jelly belly i had before (well, not jelly belly but not fat either, i seemed to have gained some jelly in last 8 weeks and now its kind of going harder?!) is this right?
sorry if i sound like a paranoid wreck, i am! LOL, i get so nervous before my scans and convince myself its going to be bad news again. next scan is on friday, my dating scan with nhs. my last scan was valentines day, all was fine
    then.
so when does your belly go pop? or does it just go kind of harder and rounder? or does it not even happen for ages yet?

I think it varies from woman to woman, depending on your body and previous pregnancies.

I'm on my third, and I swear my boobs doubled the minute the line appeared on the test stick, and my belly followed soon after! Most of my regular clothes were too tight within a few weeks and I had to go into maternity wear.

However my SIL is pregnant with her first. I saw her at around 14 weeks at Christmas (they live 300 miles away!), and she didn't look pregnant at all. No evidence of a bump and she was still in normal clothes.

Yes emmab that sounds normal, if i remember rightly the soreness eased for me quite early then from about 16 weeks i started leaking (not what i expected!) Then near the end of my pregnacy they grew even more and i felt like i was carrying 2 bowling balls along with my bump!

yep boobs sound about right emma although mine are bigger again they're not sore since about 8/9 weeks. I'm 15 weeks now and some days I think I look really obviously pregnant but then others I just look thick round the middle and like I've just had a big meal... my hipster jeans all still fit although I tend to unbutton them in the evenings but then other bits of clothing don't work cos of where the bump pushes the buttons or whatever out and I just look lumpy.

Should I be using any stretch-mark preventative creams? I always thought this was all part of pregnancy, but no one is mentioning anything here and my SIL was very vague...

Hope you're all well this evening.
