Then again, I have just read somewhere that you might not leak so much with second babies - hope that's right.
Mine leaked just as much second time, from about pregnancy week 20  - first time it happened we had the builders in and I was wearing a white tshirt - very embarrassing:o:o
I used the reusable avent pads, but they were hideous as they showed through what you were wearing. I've heard lansinoh reusables are the best, but expensive.
The disposable ones used to stick to me and had to be peeled off, ewwwwwww!!0 -

Can I ask you ladies. Did you go over with your 1st? I'm 6 days over today and going quietly insane. Not only do we want to meet our beautiful baby but OH has been told he is to start new job on April 1st (Oh yikes thats April fools day.. only just realised..), New job is 3 hours drive away and we have to find a new house and move. Did any of you not experience any of the usual signs of labour and just go straight into it? x0

Oh no, you've got me worried now0 -
The lansinoh breast pads are fantastic. I used to soak through 4 or more boots own brand ones during a feed, and only used 1 lansinoh all day! I have bought them for this time round too. Also - they are so much thinner than "normal" pads - we have enough indignities to deal with, without sanitary pads in our bras as well as our knickers!!!!!!!!:p
Lush bucket - Going over is normal i'm afraid. I was lucky with dd1 only four days, but that was bad enough. I have two weeks left til my due date - and I'm on that eternal clock watch already - I can't bear to think I might have to wait four weeks before I'm induced. Loads of old wives tales to try - pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, curry, sex, crouching on all fours cleaning. Baby will come when it's good and ready. Try and enjoy your last few days - book a manicure, or hair cut, buy a new book. I was told all these things, and wished I'd followed advise. This time round, I finish work Friday, going to spend four days "nesting" and next Friday I intend to splash out at the hairdressers whilst DD1 is at nursery. I remember with my first wondering when I'd next get time to pamper myself - and have time alone like I used to. Next Friday will be it!!!!! (I wouldn't change motherhood for the world, but do wish I had made more of my maternity leave last time!) Plus on the day dd1 arrived I had no symptoms or signs that she was on the way, until my water broke at 9.15pm, she arrived 2.20am the following morning! So yes you can go straight to it!0 -

Oh thats a relief! I'm due to be induced on friday but wanted to know if theres still a chance of it just arriving, it's amazing how clued up you think you are and then when it comes to it, despite all the books and everything,, I know nothing! Congrats on your pregnancy, I hope your little one doesnt make you wait too long! I'd love a hair do but money is very tight what with having to move so soon after the birth, im just stressing as it's a lot to deal with all at once.
As for the home tested labour inducing things, I've just the curry left to try so thats tonights menu sorted! I know it will kick start soon, I'm just impatient, the house is spotless, I'm groomed from head to toe and I guess Im just bored now! I keep telling myself to enjoy the last few days of calm but finding it very hard to do! Thanks for your advice.0 -
well had a booking appointment with the midwife today (only a month late I'm 14 +4 now  ) and she couldn't find the heartbeat - nothing to worry about as we'd heard it move but then it hid under the placenta so she could only get my heartbeat. The great thing was though that we got a bonus scan out of it
Baby is so clear now - so much better than at 11 weeks and you could even see the little feet crossed. She wouldn't tell us the sex though said we'd have to wait till 20 weeks as it's more likely to be accurate.

I'm not sure if you can claim the money back of Easyjet. You'll have to look at the T&C's of the booking.
Have you got travel insurance? You might be able to claim on that. Here I go again on my own....0 -

And yes, I went 10 days over with my first and with second had an elective section at 40 weeks plus 2 days (gave her a chance to come naturally but wasn't really having twinges even - I'm sure she'd have stayed put a good while longer if she'd had her way).0
