Jeepers, you mean I booked in 9 weeks ago and missed a freebie? GASP! I shall remedy this when I next see a midwife ... handbags at dawn!0

jo_b wrote:I would, honest, I would...I've tried two different Asda stores and both had run out of Bounty packs.
The problem is that neither are particularly 'local' to me and they aren't even in areas that I would go to for another reason, so I need to make a special trip to Asda - just to be told that they are out of stock!

lol eels yep you did, but you can obtain the vouchers via the sites, once you register you will be sent them. I being the greedy woman I am, used the sites and the ones from the MW! So I have double everything... Just need the baby to come now...0

I went into poundland in Hounslow yesterday and they were doing 30 breast pads for £1.00.
I don't know if there any good, but all poundland should have them in the baby section.0 -
Took my husband 3 months of going into Boots to get the Bounty pack. (My coupon was old and didn't say anything about Asda.) It seemed to be new but wasn't as good as Dormouse's. I found the Emma's Diary one better so am going to use my second coupon to get another one (not sure why I've got two but not complaining).0

lush_bucket wrote:Hey eels yes they do, your midwife should give you a pack at your booking in appointment with avoucher to redeem to get one. If he/she doesnt you can get a voucher from bounty.com for one and also sign up to emmasdiary.com for the Lloyds one. x0

Justie wrote:Boots didn't have them either when I went in and the nearest Asda is a real trek... the Boots lady said they're redoing them so it may be that there's not much stock at the moment but when the new packs come in there will presumably be more of them around.
You only get the £5 Baby George gift voucher when you pick the pack up from Asda, though.0 -

Me being the freak that I am, though, I could only use the most expensive breast pads with DS - trust me, I tried them all! I just managed to leak so much (sorry TMI) that most pads were as much use as a chocolate teapot. That includes the reusable ones as well (not so moneysaving in my case).
The absolute best ones were Lansinoh, but they're about £4 a pack, from memory? Give me a few months and I'm going to find out if there's a cheaper way of getting them - how about on prescription, now that would be great! If only... *flying pig smiley*
Then again, I have just read somewhere that you might not leak so much with second babies - hope that's right.0 -
We got a Bounty pack from our midwife, but Mrs Steveeeee threw it away by mistake.
I just spent 20 minutes on the Bounty website trying to figure out how to apply for a pack on there (I've already created a profile in my name). Eventually I tried changing the "are you pregnant" option to Yes, and the site told me "you cannot be male and pregnant" :rotfl: Haven't they seen Arnold Schwarzenegger in Junior?? :rotfl: Anyway, I created a new profile for Mrs Steveeeee, and straight away it asked me did I want to join the club and have a Bounty pack. :T0
