Oh that sounds really bad *hugs*

It was hurting bad this morning and I was struggling, hence the phone call to midwife. I've done nothing all day, bar wash up twice and it feels much better now. It seems to be whenever I have a busy day that it gets worse.

I'm self employed, so don't get sick pay. It's hard trying to juggle work and resting, when I know I should really be resting more than I do

I was taken into hospital with strong contractions 3 mins apart on Sun night. As I was 35 weeks, they gave me some steroids to help his lungs and tried to stop my contractions by relaxing my body with codeine and paracetamol. It didn't stop the contractions but it did help with the pain and I slept okay. I was moved up to a ward rather than the labour room early in the morning as it wasn't opening my cervix so they kept an eye on me for a couple of days and I got sent home yesterday.

I am still having contractions but they don't hurt and are quite sporadic. Apparently some women do this constantly until they go into labour proper so I could have 3 more weeks of this!

Irratable womb one of the midwives called it. Joyous fun it is too!

I had that with James! I was convinced I was in labour - went to hospital with strong contractions every few mins and was hooked up to monitors and stuff. Then they just stopped for no reason at all.

Then it happened again the next night and he was born!

Hope baby arrives sooner rather than later, so you don't have to suffer too much GR.

Lu T dont worry as a student nurse im always telling ppl eat 5 a day and knew i wasnt !! getting better now though........

scan update GOOD NEWS!!!!
im just over 7 weeks, as i thought, and bean has a very strong heartbeat and all is well!!! WOOOOOHHHOOOOOOO

(not quite sure what last weeks scan was about then as was dated 5 weeks last week.......but had a very competent lady do it today and she said all is well me and hubby cried i think she thought we were mental but i have been so worried i had even packed my theatre bag..........)
its like finding out im preg all over again!!

Congrats to the new arrivals too xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
