A very dear friend could eat nothing but buns with her 3rd baby and he is now reading mathematics at Cambridge so don't worry about it!

I ate mountains of crumpets in my first trimester.

i am living off biscuits and toast, hubby has made roast chicken dinner today, the smell is making me wretch (and no its not his cooking lol) i usually love the smell or roast chicken but it smells foul
however i am going to try and eat a small plate of chicken and veg i need some goodness!

nice to hear im not on my own and thankyou for the bit on not worryong about 5 a day, i have bn guilt tripping myself for a week about that xx

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and there still lots of things I can't eat. Mostly meat and rice.
I live off cereal, toast, pasta, jacket potatoes, sandwiches.
I wasn't like this with my first pregnancy. The midwife just said eat what I can stomach and don't worry as the baby seems very helthy and active and
my weight is fine.

Today has been the worst day... im 6 weeks pregnant and just even opening the fridge makes me wanna run for the toilet. I cant count the amount of times Ive been sick today, Im sooo hungry and I want to eat but I cant keep anything down :(

Fingers crossed Ill feel a bit better tommorow... yeah right! I NEED FOOD!!!

I've been trying for 6 months and I feel just like that for two weeks every cycle!! :rolleyes: Unless I have more important things going on, so can't dwell on it.
But then I have no idea what to expect and NO IDEA what I'm doing!!

I am only asking as there is quite a chance I may be pregnant this month and have just under a week to wait for my period (long cycle) so also too early to test, but am feeling a bit strange (cant remember if I felt this way with my other 2) and have that 'am I, aren't I' thing going on in my head. Also wondering if I may be feeling like this as I would like to be pregnant so my body is tricking me into feeling this way.

I felt nauseous pretty much from day 1! Smells made the nausea worse and I remember the smell of the bin and cold toast were the worst. Got a positive test result a few days before my period was due.

jo101 i felt nauseas and just "knew" i was pregnant about 5 days before i did my test, even tested day b4 was due on cos was so sure. got neg. then waited did one day after was due on, was neg again (cheap tests used both times) so got one of those first response ones and that was pos, you can use them 4 days b4 ur due on.

I was first actually sick at three weeks and continued to feel sick for another two before I managed to get a positive pregnancy test (on the third test!) Was quite a relief to get positive test as I was worried that either it was psychological or there was something else wrong with me.

Thanks for your posts guys - make me 'feel' better. DH cooked roast beef yesterday and I couldn't eat it because of the smell. He looked a little hurt when I dug into two slices of toast with marmite a couple hours later managing some fruit but not so good with veg.
