Yes at last! 2 hour labour, which was unbelievable considering my previous 2 were 24 and 26 hours! Has 2 doting older brothers, and is sleeping well at the moment, long may it continue!

Hi all,
I have been lurking for a while and was wondering (hoping) that someone could offer me some advice.

Yesterday i went for a scan because i have been having quite bad pains in the pelvis area (no blood) The nurse said that either my baby has stopped growing at 5 weeks or my dates are wrong. I looked on my notes and it says that there is a gest sac and a yolk but no fetal pole? what does this mean?

I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan, she has really worried me though as she said it is likely i will miscarriage before then and to expect bleeding. i dont really have no symptoms did have sore boobs but that has gone and no sickness, slight period type pain though. My last period was 27th Oct, surely they should know by now if things arent right, cant believe i have to wait 2 weeks (over christmas aswell)

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi, I am a first time mum-to-be. I started up my own business over a year ago, but although it is going very well I am still not turning enough profit to take a wage, only pay for rent, food & other basics. Now I am pregnant and worried about finances as I am barely making enough for me to survive, let alone a baby too. Does anyone know if there are any benefits I can claim from the government, apart from the FW8 form, for self-employed parents?
