    Hi
    I added myself onto the list yesterday.
    Just wondered - i am 6+2 weeks and can not for the life of me fit into any of my beloved jeans or trousers and havent been able to for 3 weeks. I have bought a skirt and trews from the George at Asda maternity range and went to Mothercare last week to get a couple of pairs of jeans ... but ... Mothercare stuff doesnt seem to fit anyone without a 40 week bump it seems and it is very expensive and there is a very limited choice in George stuff.
    Does anyone know where else sells cheap maternity clothes that are suitable for a tiny bump, dont cost the earth and have a good chioce??
    When i was pregnant with my first 10 years ago i lived i leggings and t-shirts and really dont want to look a frump this time round!

    Hi Simone
    I too have the 'too fat but not quite warranting maternity clothes' thing going on at the mo. When this happened in my last pregnancy I bought some dirt cheap jeans and trousers in Primark in a size larger than I normally go, which were good enough for ages and useful after Oliver was born before I shrank back!
    Have you tried eBay? Always heaps of cheap mat clothes there.

    When i was pregnant with my first 10 years ago i lived i leggings and t-shirts and really dont want to look a frump this time round!

    Have you tried H&M? I'm not pregnant but when I was I got most of my stuff from there as the prices are reasonable and quite trendy too. I found Mothercare overpriced and a bit frumpy. I thought their clothes were small fitting as well as I grew out of my maternity clothes from there at 5 months:eek: I do have big babies though.

    Next also do some nice clothes but not as cheap as H&M. They don't seem to do their maternity range in all their stores though.

    Edit....just noticed you're in Manchester too, the H&M on Market Street do maternity but not the one in the Trafford Centre, in fact don't bother with the Trafford centre for anything maternity wise, I could never find anything. The new big Next in the Arndale also do a good maternity range as does the new Top Shop.
