Afternoon Diary,
We are back from Mr T's and the farmshop and I am incredibly pleased that we stuck to our list and came under budget in both :j. I had a word with the girls whilst driving there as they are monkeys for wanting this and that (probably like most kids!) I told them weve lots to pay out in the next month including DD and DH's birthday and then the MOT so they needed to help me! It worked and they didn't ask for a single thing ha! We will be going to Mr Al's tomorrow for the main shop so I will let them chose a yoghurt or something for after their tea which won't break the budget!
£17.60 out of £20 in Mr T's
£6.99 out of £10 in farmshop on sausages and pastys
I need to go and get some washing out of the drier. Will get this ironed and put straight away. Need to put another load into the drier which is mainly pjs so won't need ironing.
Food:
Breakfast - porridge with banana and nutella
Lunch - chicken salad wrap and grapes
Tea - bolognaise with wholewheat pasta and cheese
Gym - body pump
Might not get back on tonight so here's my positives/MSE things from today:
* used up change in my purse in Mr T's by going self serve :rotfl:
* came £5.41 under budget on my shopping
* transferred £6.24 from Qm33 to cover some of my January shortfall
* made 53p on Qm33 today and 15p on onepoll
Back to work tomorrow, girls not back until Thursday so going to MIL.
Tomorrow its going to be Mr Al's shopping day. I would usually do this Thursday but since we are pretty much going past there on way back from MIL's going to do it tomorrow. Thursday can be NSD2.
Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I do admire someone who can stick to lists. Absolutely not one of my strengths. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Afternoon Diary,
First day back at work done! I actually feel as though I had about 2 minutes sleep with the horrendous storm we had overnight, don't feel too bad considering but looking forward to a decent sleep tonight!
Girls have been to MIL today and they are back at school tomorrow.
We went to Mr Al's and over spent by £3.35 . All things were needed bar a chocolate mousse each for the girls and some noodles which came to £1.27. Lots of nice fresh food though including chicken breasts for the week ahead which isn't bad for £43.35. I did know I was pushing it with £40 as it was :rotfl:
Meal plan for next week is:
Thurs - slow cooker shredded chicken fahitas
Fri - vege burgers, curly fries and salad
Sat - chicken chicken curry, egg fried rice and prawn crackers
Sun - sausage, mash, yorkshire puddings and veg
Mon - chicken, bacon and leek in creamy dijon sauce, roast pots and veg
Tues - hot beef baguettes, hm chips and peas
Weds - jacket potatoes, cheese and beans
No gym today as I need to be here for DD2 whilst DH and DD1 at football. Food:
Breakfast - porridge with nutella and banana
Snack - satsuma and 2 rich tea biscuits
Lunch - hm tomato soup and malted bloomer bread & pear and raspberry smoothie
Tea - cornish pasty and mushy peas
Tomorrow will be NSD2, will confirm tomorrow though.
Redo, oh I can deviate from a list aswell :rotfl:
HHOD, I don't have a target as such as I just let the DD's go up. £216 goes out a month, could pay more but having a life aswell and aslong as the debt isn't going up this is good enough for me. Having said that 8 years in it could have totally been paid off by now!
Positive from today:
* survived day 1 back at work
Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Wow all sorted with tea and baths etc but am totally shattered!
Just popping on to report that I've made 53p on Qm33 today taking my total to £1.03 and 10p on 0nepoll taking my total to £10.10. I do get a bit slack with surveys when I'm back at work so just trying to get on once a day to clear any I may have.
