    Thanks DFOD, SA and HHOD, I'm sure we will have a lovely day.

    SA, oh no that doesnt sound good, il pop over to yours shortly to find out :rotfl:

    So ended up watching the Borrowers with DDs and then doing my ironing.

    Just had tea which was very nice and feels very naughty and treaty but actually isn't that bad. Just waiting for the drier to finish so I can nip out and bring that in and then get a bath.

    xx

    The gain is the result of not going to WW for 4 weeks, several Christmas meals, a bottle of Baileys, chocolates and eating proper food for lunch and not soup. Back to normal now though so should drop off soon.

    Afternoon Diary,

    Were back from our little jaunt out, spent a little bit more than I wanted to buy hey ho. I expected we might pop to the park there but it was too cold really. DH moaned that it wasn't really what he envisaged so I was like well next time you want to go somewhere set out a proper plan!

    So spends today were £3 in Greggs on lunch, £20 in caffe n3ro :eek: and £4 in card f@ctory on cards and wrapping paper. We had 3 hours out in total so not too bad but I just hate spending money when it wasnt particularly enjoyable!

    Just transferred out £3.32 from Qm33 to cover part of the above. Always having to cover something or other :mad:.

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix and slice of toast
    Lunch - cheese and onion pasty and chocolate orange cheesecake
    Tea - sausage, stuffing, mash, yorkshire puddings, carrots, broccoli and leeks

    That's about all! Hope all ok xx

  • Sorry your outing was a bit cold and spendy. I expect the fresh air did you good though.

    Your meals sound nice :).

    Evening Diary,

    Another day another late finish!! Massively busy (again! story of my life!) and expensive day. Done my usual, work, took DD to swimming, popped into Tesco, been to gym. Should have sat down an hour again but weve had the locks changed on the doors tonight. Its rife round here for burglaries for cars at the moment and with what happened to my sister I just can't rest knowing someone could bump our locks in a matter of seconds. We were only getting the front one done for the minute but DH had a last minute change of heart and got all 3 done whilst I was at the gym ... £180 :eek:. Anyway its done now and weve not gone for the cheapest as some of the others weren't fire proof and they like blowtorching too :eek:.

    Other than that spent £18 in Mr T's on essentials we were running out of.

    HHOD, awww im so glad that I am inspiring you that makes me feel proud :D. Yes I go to the gym at 6.30pm for my classes.

    Food:
    Breakfast - porridge with nutella and banana
    Lunch - hm bacon, mushroom and cream cheese pasta and jelly
    Tea - jacket potato, cheese and beans
    Snacks - cucumber and cream cheese for dipping, popcorn and 200ml of chocolate alpro warmed for hot chocolate
    Gym - body pump

    Positive from today
    * finally got our door locks changed
    * had 2 healthy days

    Very tired tonight, just watching Peaky Blinders with DH and then off to bed! Will catch up with everyones diaries tomorrow xx

  • Well done with the eating and exercise today. I went for my first walk in weeks today :).

    Changing the locks sounds like a very good idea, it will make you feel safer.

    Afternoon Diary,

    Hurray the first day I've actually been able to come home for a cuppa and a sit down! Not for long as need to go on the dancing run before long but better than nothing!

    Mr O just tried tempting me in with a free delivery and 15% off a £50 shop but I've just been on and most of the things I actually need are from Mr Al's and loads cheaper so I've closed the site :money:.

    Colleague at work has got me in to a little savings plan so we are doing it together! Its a 1p a day challenge where each day it doubles, so day 1 - 1p, day 2 - 2p and so on. Apparently we should have £667.95 by end of year. Need to put it £1.05 to get me straight until Sunday! I don't usually have money in my purse but I'm thinking if I start drawing the grocery money out in cash I might be able to put my left over weekly budget (wishful thinking there!) in the pot. Might go and get one of those tins that you can't get into!!

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix (was starving by 9.15 with not having porridge!)
    Lunch - hm vegetable soup, wholemeal roll and banana
    Tea - hot beef baguette, hm oven chips and peas
    Snacks - apple and popcorn
    Gym - day off :p

    Positives from today -
    * starting the savings plan
    * NSD6 of 12
    * should be able to sit down slightly earlier tonight

    Hope all ok anyway, will catch up with everyone at some point tonight xx
