  • I find that porridge is the only breakfast that gets me through to lunch time without being hungry. Your eating is still going well I see :).

MrO did me too! I haven't looked yet :o

I agree changing the locks definitely worth it for peace of mind. Mine haven't long been changed. I also got the non emergency police to come and do their safety check. They fitted two locks on every window, two safety chains on each door and gave advice on things outside. It's really rough here :o

  • Evening Diary,

Just popping back in as promised to catch up with everyone! Just had a cup of warm chocolate alpro again, DD2 has also taken a liking to it!!!

So I've entered 3 competitions that I just happen to have seen today:
    - tastecard from MSE email
    - local panto
    - free water bottle
Will see if anything comes from them.

Tomorrow I will pop to Mr Al's at some point so will be a spend day.

HHOD, I chose weetabix today as all out of bananas. Might have to just leave the bananas out of tomorrows and just have nutella as I can't believe the difference.

WF, don't be tempted by MrO haha!! I was looking at the price of lurp@c and I buy norp@k for twice as much and 20p cheaper! I just couldn't do it, even with 15% off and free delivery!
Re the locks best that you are safe too. We have all window locks as they were fitted as standard with the house (although we never lock them :o). Its rife round here for breaking in for cars and with DH's new car which is the type they are going after I just couldn't settle. They can take the cars if they want them that much, just don't come in my house!

Tomorrow I need to collect DD2 early from school as she has the dentist , 15 months this has been going on for now. If she's ok will probably call in at Mr Al's on the way back as we will pass it.

    Right think thats all xx

    Afternoon Diary,

Only just got in from the dentist, I didn't realise the appointment was an hour long  so haven't had chance to go to Mr Al's as needed to be back for DD1. So we have made progress today and she's had a temporary filling and some oxygen through the mask. Hoping next time he will have some of the gas and feel chilled out enough for an injection. DH is taking her to that appointment anyway!

Nothing much to report really, will be a spend day as need to go to Mr Al's with a £40 budget.

    Food:
    Breakfast - porridge with nutella
Lunch - pasta with pesto and cream cheese and apple
Tea - quiche, curly fries and beans
    Snack - biscuit
    Gym - spinning at 6.30

So thats about all for now. Will catch up later xx

    Evening Diary,

Spent £49 in Mr Al's, not doing very well at sticking to budgets this week .

Went to spinning and actually enjoyed it tonight... il be back to hating it again next week :rotfl:. Really pleased with how my week has gone food and exercise wise. Just need to keep up to it over the weekend as thats when I end up being bad and undoing all my hard work.

    xx

  • I'm glad the dentist went well and you feel safer with the new locks.

You've been doing so well with your eating and exercise all week, have you lost any weight? Try and factor in a few treats for the weekend, but don't undo all your good work :).
