Afternoon Diary,
New Years Eve already!!! I hope were all raring to get into the new year and start a fresh after lots of spending!
So yesterday was a very good day. Bought some make up using my voucher and still have over £11 left on it. Went in WHSmith looking for files for my pension, life insurance etc and they were £5 . Went to £land next door and got 4 for £1. Used up my costa points on us a latte and DD a hot chocolate :money:. Still got a £15 Debenhams voucher too. DD bought herself a book using her Christmas money and still has £18 left. DH sold an old Xbox we bought second hand from G@me for DD2 a couple of years ago for £50 :money:.
I have had a massive overhaul of our filing systems which had been in dire need of sorting for some time! I had wage slips from 2009, most of DH's he's never even opened so I had the lovely job of opening them all to see if they could be disposed of. After a quick google and a chat with my Dad we have kept 2 years worth plus this year so far plus all the P60's. The rest have been shredded. Mine are all online now too.
Today's job is to look through all the pension paperwork as I have some letters which I know can be shredded as I've linked 2 pensions together etc. I say this to myself every time I get on top of the filing but I really do need to keep on top of it now .
We are going out for a drink locally at tea time and taking the girls with us. We will only have a couple but it will be nice to get out since weve not done anything since Boxing Day! Having said that I have massively enjoyed the chilling time this week.
We have a curry for when we come back and then we will watch Boss Baby with the girls. Really looking forward to it.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -

Morning All,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their night.
Thank you Louby, HHOD, Pennywise, PLMBL, Redo and SA. We had a lovely night but was ready for bed by 9.30 :rotfl:. I did manage to get my eyes open until the fireworks somehow!
So we went down to the local pub for 4ish and came back just after 7. The girls enjoyed it too I think! I was surprised to see the number of people out with young children, this is obviously the thing to do with kids in tow :rotfl:.
Today will be NSD1, I like it that the New Year starts on a Monday, feels right ha!
No plans today other than to have a roast chicken for tea.
DH is back at work tomorrow and I really need to get the kids up early as we are all in a vicious circle of staying up late and getting up late. Work is going to kill me this week!
Have a lovely day all xxMummytogirls x0 -
