    Evening Diary,

DF1D, had a lovely week and weekend thank you! Hope you have too.

So since I last posted we have had a very busy week. Had loads to do Wednesday after work in preparation for DDs birthday.. what did it go and do.. snow loads! Luckily it was all gone by the night but it wasn't very pleasant driving in it, car was sliding and skidding .

So DDs birthday was lovely but spendy! Yesterday was her party and what happened overnight... more snow! !!!!!! I was stressed out! About 6 people didn't come but I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of people determined to get there. She was also so spoilt which surprised me being so close after Christmas. She received £110 as well as loads of presents. The kids all had a good time and we managed to feed the adults with all the food too so only a few sandwiches were thrown.

Last night I was round at the neighbours for a murder mystery evening. That was fun and didnt cost anything as I took some cava I had leftover from my birthday. Felt the effects this morning and I've pretty much done nothing but ironed, went along to DD's swimming lessons and made the yorkshire puddings to go with our chicken.

Im showered and just about ready for bed now haha!!!

DD1 has decided she doesnt want to swim anymore so we've pulled her out. The pool said we could transfer her paid lessons over to DD2 which is handy as we've not long paid. It also means we only have to spend 30 mins there on a Sunday now instead of an hour.

Today was NSD4, totally needed after this weeks spending! Roll on payday!!!!

Nothing much more to report, I'm all organised for work and school tomorrow and I've also got some reggae chicken out of the freezer for tea.

    Hope everyones ok xx

  • Glad you survived DD's birthday and had a lovely time! I'm also a bit frazzled after DS2's party yesterday, but still have the birthday day to go tomorrow!! Wish me luck!

Sorry the snow spoilt things. We've hardly had any - yet! Xx

    Evening Diary,

Hope everyones managing ok with the cold weather. Our house was freezing when we came in tonight, even with the heating on but it soon warmed up.

Cant believe what DD1 did today... forgot she had sandwiches with her and had a school dinner :rotfl:!!! Luckily she had money on her account or else id be getting a debt collecting text!! What a waste of packed lunch stuff the little monkey.

So today has been NSD5!! Tomorrow will be a spend day though as me and DH are currently sharing the car with the weather so will need to pay for one of us to get home from work. Il probably get a taxi as its cheaper than DH getting the bus.

Ive just caught up on onepoll and now I've got £2.45..

PLMBL, hope DS had a nice birthday!!

Thats about all from me, Monday nearly done xx

    Evening Diary,

DD2 is currently stood on the arm of the settee blowing kisses to 1D :eek:!!!

So today has been NSD6! I put a little Facebook status on this morning asking if anyone was going from my work village to my home village and 2 people replied.. how lucky! I am actually steaming mad with DH though. He only went and scraped all the front bumper on my car this morning . He was too eager to get turned round in the road, totally misjudged and hit the park wall. Im so cross as there was no need for him to do that, it wasn't like he hit a patch of ice or anything. I actually swore infront of the kids which I never do. DD2 was like mummy are you really cross.. I was like yes I am!!

DF1D, im glad you're getting on ok with OP!!!

Well tonight... more snow forecast! Cant cope, I've actually cancelled my Mr A's order as I'm not convinced I will get there was it. Hopefully we might get a snow day.

    Hope all ok xx

    Evening Diary,

Well we've had snow all night and all day . Schools finally closed at lunchtime so I had to go the long way round as id heard reports of cars in walls on the country lane and didn't fancy having my precious shed ending up in the wall!! Then heard reports of a standstill in my village due to an accident but luckily it had gone by the time I got there. The main road was ok so I decided to brave the steep hill at the side of our house... big mistake made it about a 10th of the way up and car was just wheel spinning, sliding about so I panicked and threw it into a space on a side road. Just as I got out a woman coming up behind me did the same but stalled the car and had to roll back down the hill  Kids have played out all afternoon and we've had the heating on 6 hours as its been so cold
Really hoping my car is in peace tomorrow as if someone loses control coming down the hill they could end up in my car :(. Had no choice but to leave it though!

So again another NSD!!!! Im so glad I cancelled my Mr A collection.

Thats about all from me. Hoping thats all for the snow now, can't be doing with it with where we live! xx
