  • Evening Diary,

Wow Friday again.. only 5 working weeks until we break up :).

So got home from work at 2.15pm intending just on having a quick cuppa and then doing a job before picking the girls up... did this happen NO! Once I had sat down I just could not get motivated. Picked the girls up and DD2 not well. It was quite scary how ill she looked and how fast it seemed to come on. She missed a party round at the neighbours so was gutted. She had a lie down and some medicine and since 4.45pm seems perfectly fine and is currently tucking into her party bag. I hope thats the end of whatever that was. So I've been pottering round amongst keeping an eye on DD and now had enough so catching up on here! Cleaned 2 bathrooms, cleaned dishwasher, put washing on airer and hoovered and polished one floor. Will do the rest tomorrow morning.

So its less than 6 weeks until Christmas and I have bought like 2 presents!!! Were waiting for the Amazon black Friday deals and then after that we will just buy what we need to.

Hi Steph, thanks for popping in and sharing your anger with me too!!! I agree, I mean my DH is quite good and does jobs around the house etc but every now and again he will p!ss me right off!

Thats it from me. Have a weekend of visiting my friends new baby, tidying and cleaning planned. The spare bed has had loads of stuff dumped on it since we cleared out the girls bedroom so going to make sure we sort that this week, its been too long now!!

    Hope everyones ok xx

  • Thanks PLMBL!

So since I last posted I've ironed, had a shower and cleaned the other small bathroom downstairs. Thats enough cleaning and housework for tonight. Im shattered now sat down with a cuppa.

DD perking up must have been a result of the medicine as she's dipped back down again and is saying she's cold when she's boiling hot :(. Ive got the living room window open trying to cool her down poor thing.

Praying for a good sleep!! xx

  • Morning Diary,

Well DD hasn't been very well at all, ended up with her at the out of hours doctor yesterday and she has an upper airways infection. She had 3 lots of the antibiotics yesterday and after the 2nd we could see a clear improvement in her. She's currently whinging to play out.. me thinks she's feeling better!!!
So didn't really do much yesterday as a result of DD not being well. Spent £2 on parking at the hospital and £3 in Mr T's on a few bits for us, nothing that will break the bank really!!! Not really sure what were up to today.

Hope everyones enjoying their weekend x

Aawww, I'm glad to hear DD is feeling a bit better. It's horrible when they are ill. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and she will be back to her usual self :) xx

  • Evening Diary,

Wednesday night already!!! Thanks for popping in PLMBL and Chrysalis, hope your DS is feeling better Chrysalis, too much going round at the moment, I've never known anything like it!

So been to Mr A's tonight whilst the girls were at gymnastics. Felt like we were running out of everything and I spent £5 on the girls advent calendars. Spent £67 in total which I don't think is bad really. Hopefully next week will be slightly cheaper!

Between picking the girls up from school and going back out to gym I got my ironing up to date! My washings also relatively up to date, got a load of darks to go in once I add my work trousers to the basket.

    Hope everyones ok anyway xx

  • Evening Diary,

Well in my last diary entry I hoped for a cheaper shop next week... wrong had to get it delivered a day early as we seemed to be running out of things and it cost £71!!!! The cupboards are now bursting and I've got a few bits for Christmas in too.. fingers crossed for next week haha!!!

Nothing much to report really. Went Christmas shopping with my friend on Thursday and got a few extra bits. Still not got the girls main things yet but we are waiting for the black Friday deals... fingers crossed for that too!!!

So I bought a slow cooker on Sunday. It was reduced by over half the price and the reviews were fab. Im using it tonight for the first time with a bolognaise. Wanted to see how it cooks etc as my last one was obviously faulty so just wanted to be doubly sure! Going to do some gammon in it tomorrow whilst I'm at work. Looking forward to using it loads over the winter, need to look at the threads on here for ideas.

    Hope everyones ok anyway xx
