Morning Diary,
Yay we made it to half term! Its been such a tough one at work for various reasons and we've had a few issues with DD1 at school so other than not having to go to work, thats why I'm so glad to have them at home with me.
Thanks Steph and GAP for popping in, seems everyones been ready for the break. Yes Steph it takes massive will power to spend such a low amount. My usual amount is £65 a week, thats not including meat as I buy that from the farmshop. I still think £65 is a low amount for a family of 4 but tbh the supermarkets have such good offers now a days I always feel to get lots for my money.
So not got much planned for next week. DD2 had a cold, cough throat, cough combo last week. She's been very kind and shared it with the rest of us and now we've all got it! I felt dreadful at 6.30 when I woke up but I've come round a bit now I'm up.
Today DD2 has a party near the town centre so we will pop into town to pay in the £2 coins in ready for next weekend. Got £107 to pay in with some other bags of change I have. That will pay towards our trip to c.parcs next weekend. We've already paid a £20 deposit for a meal out on the Saturday night and on the Friday night theres a free halloween disco and Sunday theres a free firework display. Those of you who've been to c.parcs will know theres not much free things going on there so we are very lucky that these things are going on whilst were there!! Need to book a couple more activities which I will do today once the money is in the account. I can't wait plus the kids still don't know were going!!!!!
Hope everyones ok, heating still off here!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well done on the £2 coins amount and the £30 food shop. Hope DD1 is ok.
Heating is still off here too.

Thanks Alice, DD1 is ok now. We've ironed out a few issues with the teacher who appears to have a few issues of her own! She's moved up to KS2 now and whilst I know children need to be more responsible they are still only 7 years old. I think schools nowadays are very hard on children. Im all for responsibility etc but sometimes it seems to go too far.
Neither of the girls has played out any night this week so I think this shows they are ready for a break! They love playing out usually!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
My 2 were desperate for the holidays (broke up on Thursday!). It's been a long half term!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Well done on saving all those £2 coins :T
My boys are also ready for the break from school. I always find we don't do much in the October half term as the weather is never very good and we are usually preparing for Christmas shopping so tend to save our pennies. They've just started going to the park now though so hopefully that will keep them occupied for a couple of days at least!
What a lovely surprise for your girls, bet they will be super excited when they find out you're all going away.0 -
Hi Mummy, hope you have a good week, can't believe it is half term already,1/6th of the school year gone
: not that I'm counting or anything

Morning diary,
Sooo has everyone enjoyed a lie in this morning? Not here, we sent the kids to bed at normal time as it makes no difference to them and they got up at 6 which would be 7. We sent them back to bed for a bit at that time! Me and DH have cracked on since and got the house looking spotless, I've done some more ironing and hung the washing over the airer. As soon as my back was turned DD2 was in the bathroom messing it back up again! I long for the day that the house will stay tidy instead of the whirlwinds following me round messing up where I've tidied.
We've got swimming lessons this morning/early afternoon then my dads coming to visit and were having an easyish tea of kievs, roast potatoes and veg.
Yesterday I felt ok in the morning but felt dreadful in the afternoon and spent most of it in bed. Started to come round again about 8pm so had some left over pizza for tea.
This morning I feel better than I did but my poor throat is so sore. Im glad we got the housework done this morning and then we can relax for the rest of the day.
Didn't get to put the £2 coins in yesterday as the bank shut at 1 and we would have been too late. Will go this week and do it.
Thats all from me, hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hope you feel better soon x
I know the feeling about tidying and then kids making a mess as soon as your back is turned. I feel quite sad thinking about the day I'll have a permanently tidy house but they won't be there
Hope you have a good day xxx0 -
Hope you feel better soon. X0
