  • Evening Diary,

Were back!!!! So sad thats its all over but we've made some fab memories :D. I thought you qualified for money off if you went back but it seems not as I've searched without the come back soon code and with the code and the prices are the same. I was hoping to book for Easter 2016 but at nearly £900 there is no way I am paying this! I booked this break in January and got a good deal so might keep an eye out on the prices and see if they go down.

Back to work tomorrow :(, usually I'm ready to get back into routine but I'm really not ready this time. Its DD1s birthday tomorrow, just need to get DH to get her pressies down. Ive wrapped them all already.

Think thats all from me. Hope all ok xx

    Evening Diary,

Well what a week I'm absolutely shattered!

DD had a lovely birthday, we had visitors after school and we had takeaway pizza for tea. Last night we had more friends over for pie and peas before going to a bonfire and fireworks. Had a lovely time but its really taken its toll and all I could think of after work was getting in my pjs!

DD1 was in bed first before 7pm, as she's been really narky as she was tired. The final straw was when she smacked DD2 for no reason, I heard it from the kitchen and gave her a massive telling off so put her in the bath and straight to bed. DD2 was in bed at 7.30 and we didn't hear a peep from either of them.

Looking forward to the weekend put it that way!

Had some gift vouchers delivered today, I've been saving all year round and got £100 L2 shop and £100 @mazon. Thats towards Christmas.

Nothing much more to report really. Payday Tuesday :j xx

  • Afternoon Diary,

Payday :j!!!! Nothing much to report really just popping in to say hi really. Had a bit of a barny with DH tonight as I was having 10 mins after my shower and he made some comment about he thought id be reading with the kids. I think he sometimes forget that I actually only do a few less hours than him and when you take into consideration me coming home, tidying the kitchen, cooking tea, sorting dishwasher, sorted kids lunchboxes etc I actually do more hours than him a day! Not making it a competition but if I want 10 mins peace, I will have 10 mins peace!!!

    Hope everyones ok x

  • Oh forgot to say I've made leek and potato soup tonight using some leeks up which needed using. That will do me 3 days which I'm pleased with!! x

  • Hi MTG

I can definitely agree with you needing the 10 minutes peace. I also work part-time, but it is so unfair, because hubby comes home at 4.30pm, sits down in front of the TV and never moves. Meanwhile I am cooking dinner, washing up, kids homework and reading, baths and bedtime routine, washing machine, dishwasher etc etc etc etc.

I sometimes wish i worked full-time so maybe I could just sit on my bum between 4.30 and bedtime .

If I do stay in bed 5 minutes after him its "get up lazy bones" etc. aaarggh it drives me nuts.

I have typed all this just so you know that you are not alone. Men don't seem to understand the " if your in a glass house, don't throw stones" quote :o;)
