    Afternoon Diary,

So the decluttering went well and I have made £50 through selling the kids toys on my Facebook! People are popping in at various times today to collect. I will spend that money on clothes for them, although I probably won't get that much for £50 it still all helps.
Ive put some of their old clothes on ebay so will see if anything comes of that aswell.

Its amazing just how much junk they had in that bedroom. DH took about 6 bin bags full of old clothes and broken toys etc to the tip .

DFW, yes look into the bulbs, I think the current ones we have in are halogen. They are expensive and blow all the time!! We have energy saving every where else but these are special fittings we have.

Not had the most productive day today as I'm not feeling so great. Have washed all the hats, scarves and gloves though and they've dried on the line and then I've got another wash load out blowing away so not too bad really.

Sausage and mash for tea.. yum! Hope everyones had a nice weekend xx

  • Good luck with the ebay/FB sales mummy.....I love a good declutter.

Great news on the gas/elec. We're aiming to leave the heating off until at least 1st November.;)

    You're doing great.:D

    Hello Everyone,

Thanks popping in and for your lovely comments :D.

Not sure where abouts in the country you all are but were in Yorkshire and by 'eck has it come cold haha!!! When I popped for the kids my face was hurting the wind was so sharp. There's threats of putting the heating on by DH, Ive been the stern one about it but actually I think it might need to go on tonight for the kids baths obviously :rotfl:!!! Il see how the house feels after tea, half an hour would probably do it and it warms up really quickly.

I think I did my last lost of pegging out on Sunday for the year. Unless we have some sudden heat wave I think the washing will end up coming in damp plus all my garden is grass and it will start to get really boggy now it doesnt dry out through the day. Thank goodness for my airer though!

Got a couple of watchers on my ebay items but nothing too exciting other than that.

Going to make a lasagne for tea so best get on with that shortly.

    Hope everyones ok x

I started putting the heating on for an hour in the mornings on Saturday there. That is when we have our showers though. In the evenings I keep telling LMG to put more layers on for now! :D xx

    Morning Diary,

What a lovely bright Saturday I have woken up to!

So what to report.. since the hours heating on Tuesday we haven't had it on again since :T. I think we will stick til November without it coming on at various points but if we need it on the odd hour thats not bad.

DH is just about to go off for his hair cutting and then he's out with his friend for a couple of hours. Me and the girls are popping down to Mr A's to spend the £50 on an outfit each. Ive seen a lovely skirt for DD1 so hopefully she will agree when we get there. Then they've got an afternoon of baking planned and I'm not doing much!!!

Haven't really been up to much this week, just the usual going to work, ferrying kids about, food shopping etc! Payday on Tuesday, can't wait!!!!!

I cleaned the house last night so will just go round with the duster and hoover this morning and then that should be it. Bedding is in the washer as we speak and will put that in the TD as the garden isn't getting much sun now a days so no point in pegging out. Then my other load of uniforms will go on the airer overnight.

    Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary,

So we had such a lovely outing to Mr A's yesterday, I could have spent loads of money on clothes for the girls (if id had it to spend!). We spent £12 over what they had from the sales of the toys and then last night I made £7 on ebay so only a £5 shortfall which isn't bad.
They got 2 outfits each which isn't bad.

We then had a homemade chinese for tea which was nice too, so all in all a good day!

Today I'm going to do my cleaning I never got round to! After they're swimming lessons my friends coming round and after tea we are going into town to see a light show.

Thats about it really, nothing too exciting to report! Hope all ok xx

  • Hi mummy sounds like things are ticking along nicely for you. I got all excited when I saw it was your payday next week, then I remember you started a new job so our pay dates aren't the same.:(:rotfl:

Great bargains at Mr A. Have a great week.
