  • Morning Diary,

Nothing much to report since last night but trying to keep up with the diaries.

Chrysalis, im so excited for next year, I feel good things too.

So we had a little lie in this morning, until after 8am which never happens. DH made breakfast pancakes for the girls and scrambled egg and beans on toast for us too. That should keep us going.

Kids have swimming lessons at 12pm and then we will visit my sister, BIL and nephew in their new house as we haven't been round yet. Cant really do anything housey today as have no hoover :T haha!!

Sausage and mash for tea.. yum. Happy Sunday everyone x

  • I swear we exist in a parallel universe, I had a lie in today as I was awake in the night for no reason anyway I have therefore been a bad mum as the kids swimming lessons are at 0900 so they have missed them. Doh!

Breakfast sound good, have a lovely day.

    Morning MTG

Sounds like a nice start to the day. What a lovely hubby for making such great breakfasts. I would die of shock if mine every did that :o.

Your plans for 2015 sound great. I need to formulate mine. No holiday for us, but I do plan for me and the kiddos to head out in the tent as much as possible. I need to search out those elusive £10 per night pitches. I chicken out and usually end up at expensive places with waterslides etc which ends up costing us a fortune. need to find that cheap little field near a beach :D

You have plenty of time to eat healthy for your holiday :T

  • Morning Diary,

Day 1 of the holidays and DD1 has already stomped off to her bedroom all because I wouldnt let her put the xbox on at 8.20am! When she goes on it, its only for a set time and it really brings out the worst in her. Shes not playing any scary games or anything but her attitude after being on it is not good and im not having that start off my day.
She was banned from it yesterday as she was rude to me Saturday when I asked her to come off of it and her and DD played lovely together so id rather this than her sat on that.

Anyway, today I am going to take them to soft play later on and have them burn off some energy. I also need to collect my hoover which cost £35 to fix which I dont think is bad considering I could have bought a new one for however much (I like Dysons!). DH also mentioned the dog needs some food so I will collect that whilst were out. Quite a spendy day really!! Will make up for it tomorrow when we waiting in for parcels!! Hope everyones ok anyway xx

  • Afternoon Diary,

All sorted and back in the house! Spent £22 in soft play including lunch and drinks so not too bad. Collected dog food and the hoover and now back home where its warm. The weather here is horrendous today, really windy and rainy. I could actually feel the car shaking as I was driving.

Ive done one wash load and now our coats are in since we are not going back out again. I need to pop to Mr A's for a delivery later, but will wear my other one.

Ive also made a rice pudding in the slow cooker which looks nice. Tonights tea is something quick out the freezer so will have that for pudding.

Just settling down to watch the Railway Children with DD2, she likes her movies!!!

    xx

  • Afternoon Diary,

Well I've been a busy little bee!!

Last night I popped to Mr A's to collect the parcels, not a problem at all and straight in and out.

This morning have been up since 7.30 as I've been waiting for 2 parcels. 1 is here, 1 isn't coming until between 3.15-4.15.
Ive washed ours and kids bedding, kids is just ready to go back on now. Chicken in the slow cooker, ironed, hoovered, baked the cookies for santa and been out to collect out turkey phew! Spent quite a bit in the butchers, the turkey was £12 and then bought a £13 joint of beef :), (it will do about 4-5 meals) sausages incase DH wants to make sausage sarnies on Christmas day, eggs and bread rolls.
Just need my shopping to come now (between 6-7) and then were all sorted. Last few bits to wrap tonight which I collected last night and were all sorted.

Just having a cup of tea now and will make the kids beds shortly. We've got a friend and her kids coming round later for the older 2 to exchange presents so I haven't tidied up too much as I know theres no point haha!!!

When I collected my Mr A order last night the guy there told me they now have a click and collect drive through round the back of the store so I think il give this a go in the New Year. The kids go to gymnastics on a Weds evening which is when I do my shopping but its always a rush so this hopefully should leave me less stressed and with more money as I can control it better online.

Thats all from me. Hope everyones nice and organised xx

  • All sounding lovely, that's sounds like a good service from Asda will it have a time slot for you to collect as opposed to delivery?

Hope you enjoy the next few days and best wishes for the new year.

  • Morning Diary,

Hope everyones having a lovely Christmas!!! Were having a lovely time so far, can't complain at all. I often read back in my diary to see what I've been up to previous years and last year wasn't that good due to various carryings on.

So Wednesday, I was up early cleaning and getting the house sorted. I made our HM icecream by hand for yesterday which was delish. We went to the cinema in the afternoon which was lovely and then out for a meal. Kids were up and down in the night like yo-yos ha!

Yesterday the kids loved their pressies, me and DH didn't do bad either. My favourite present was a steam cleaner!!! This is probably most peoples hellish present but I can't wait to get going with it haha!! DH got some stick at work for buying me it, but I don't care, I love it ha!! Dinner was gorgeous, cooked by both DH and I.

Today we've had sausage and bacon sandwiches which were nice. Kids are now listening to music on their devices and playing the 1D game, DH is out with the dog and I'm researching taps for the kitchen we we desperately need and are buying using the money DH's grandad gave us for Christmas. Then weve got turkey curry for tea using up the leftover turkey.

Chrysalis, yes you book a slot but its free. On Wednesdays I'm always rushing round the supermarket as I have less than an hour to get there, do the shopping and get back to gymnastics so I always either don't get everything or loads of extras fly into the trolley. Hoping to save some money this way and time too.

PLMBL, hope you had a lovely day yesterday.

Right thats me done for today. Hope all ok xx
