  • Great news that the lights have been done, r.e. sky we cancelled a couple of months ago and not really bothered about it at all definitely not worth paying the £30 ish a month for it.

Any plans for tomorrow? We're staying in and relaxing, making the most of our time off.

  • Morning Diary,

Well we went bowling last night and we really enjoyed it and the bonus part it cost less than we first thought. My friend booked it and it was supposed to be £17 per family but the bowling place booked us all in as one family so only charged us £17, so £8.50 each!! We spent £7 on drinks, parking was free and we had a fun couple of hours out of the house.

Chrysalis I haven't got any plans for today either. DH is going out cycling with his friend any minute but will be back for lunchtime. Either today or tomorrow we need to go and pick up a present as the girls have a party 12-2 on Friday which I kept forgetting about. Im not sure where will be open tomorrow so might be best off going out this afternoon.

Nothing much else to report. Hope all ok x

  • Hi MTG

Glad you had a good time bowling. Our local alley do mid week deals and I keep meaning for us to try it one night as some quality family time, but it hasn't happened yet :o

You are right about using lots of heating, I can visibly see our Oil meter emptying with everyone home boosting the heating .
Its another £350 for another delivery and have no clue when we can afford that, so yes, I need to pack my lot back to school asap too. :)

Have a wonderful New Years Eve.

    Can't wait to start 2015 :T
  • Morning Steph,

I think unless its in the holidays midweek is a struggle with kids being at school etc. It would be for us aswell with ours being slightly younger and needing to be in bed earlier. It was nice to meet up with the other family as we don't often see them. Adults only night out next time :D.

OMG to the £350 for the oil, get them back to school ha!!

Im totally with you on chomping at the bit to get to 2015, hope its a good year for all xx

  • Totally forgot to mention I've written next weeks shopping list. Broken down by the various spending areas... not sure when groceries got so complicated ha!! Im going to do a click and collect order for next week. Not sure when il be able to pick it up as DDs on a school trip next week and is due to get dropped off whilst other DD is at gymnastics which is usually when I do the shopping! So I'm going to have to pick DD2 up from school, drop off a gymnastics, shoot back up here to pick up DD1 from school and then straight back for little DD after gymnastics!! Then back up here home. Jees!! xx

  • Right im back! Just done a little click and collect order for Weds but ive hit a problem. For some reason they only do the collections on Wednesdays until 4pm which isnt helpful for me as I cant get there til 4.30!! Im going to collect on my way home next Weds and see how it pans out as I need to make sure I get home in time to collect the girls. This also means im going out of my way for no reason hmmm. Might have to go into store armed with cash instead in the future. Need to think about it x

  • Hi mtg, your weeks sound like mine on a Monday ds goes climbing then I drop him home and go back and do my session, from 19th I'll need to add in a trip over to support a new athletics session before all the climbing thankfully it will only be for a few weeks until they do their coach training.

Wednesdays are teaching running then dd climbing, Thursdays are teaching athletics then the family go swimming! I like my weeks off!!

What a pain r.e. collection times, that's quite early to stop so I hope it fits in with your plans.

Hope you have a lovely evening and wishing you all the very best for 2015, lots to look forward to especially your holiday.
