Morning Diary,
Here we are Monday again! Not the best start to the week, forgot my keys for the office and didnt realise until I got here... so had to drive all the way back.. not very MSE!!!!!
Today will be NSD4 as I am going to get my petrol tomorrow, or if I end up working from home all day il get it Wednesday.
I am however going to go for a walk at lunch time and pick up my free latte courtesy of priority moments :money:. Walk, fresh air and a freebie... cant be bad!
Alice, yes they get the pool with them, even with DD1 who is 6 and been going for 2.5 years they still get in with them.
I think she just needs to get in. We are not allowed to sit on the side so she will probably be better than if we were there. We are sat behind a glass window!
Right think thats all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Mummy
I pay for my two to have swimming lessons.
£22 each per month . I try to see it as an essential though, as I feel learning to swim as a very important safety issue and could save their life at some point. Or they could save someone elses.
Painfull amount each month though all the same.
Your meals sound nice, it reminds me that I need to do this weeks menu plan.
Hope you day gets better after the false start. xx0 -
Hi Mummy,
Happy New Year!
Im back at work now so will be around more, I didn't get chance to post over the hols as DD was literally on the go from the moment she opened her eyes.
Im back at work for a rest lol.

Morning Diary,
Just popping on for a quick catch up! Im working from home today, love working from home feels so different to trekking into the office!
Steph, I agree swimming is sooo important so youre right it is essential. We pay ours in blocks of 10 so just worked out the monthly equivalent - £30 each a month !!! It is worth it though and thats our only expense on hobbies at the moment.
Hope ive given you some meal planning inspiration, I always pop on the meal planning thread for inspiration!
Livvy, lovely to hear from you, Happy New Year!! Hope you had a lovely if not tiring break!!!
So I could not get out of bed this morning, it was 7.20 before I peeled myself out the bed! I think its because I knew I wasnt going straight to the office I could be more leisurely!!
Its so hard getting out bed, I love it so much hahaha!! I was asleep about 9.30pm too!
I didnt end up walking for my free coffee yesterday as I was too busy at work, will probably go tomorrow for it now.
Im hoping today might be NSD5 and I will get petrol tomorrow, havent quite decided yet though!!
Anyway hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
My parcel came which was DD2's trainers for her birthday, they are soooo cute!! Shes obsessed with trainers so these will be right up her street.
Just been out to pick DD1 up from school via the postbox. I really do miss being able to pick her up so its not a chore like it might if I did it every day.
Ive done 2 loads of washing whilst ive been here too!!! Love working from home... I must add I have worked too!!! xMummytogirls x0 -

Agree this week is flying by,it will be the weekend before we know it.
Easy tea for us too, omelette, hash browns and beans, yum yum.0 -
Looks like tonights tea was something simple and easy all round, poached egg and beans on brown bread toast for us tonight.
I pegged out today but it didn't dry enough for me to have a hot and steamy date with the ironing board tonight.....now thats a shame
