Morning Diary,
Just done the meter readings and its not good ha! In the last 2 weeks we have used £73 . We are now £60 in credit but will almost definitely go into debit as weve got 3.5 weeks til the next payment goes in. I suppose we have been off nearly 2 weeks and weve been the house every day and we had to use the emersion (which apparently) uses more electric. Its not even been 'that' cold I think thats why im a bit annoyed with us!
So going to have to keep my eye on this! Will mention it to DH too to make sure he keeps in check too!!
Morning Pinot, I think my motivation may have left haha! Im hoping that after ive had a mooch on here, I might feel more like I want to do something!!!
** sends some of motivation pinot's way**
Sooooo nothing too exciting to report from here! After id been on here last night I wrapped DD's presents that had been delivered so far.
Im going to have a look on a certain card site now for her a nice card. Hopefully il find some discount somewhere!!
Happy Saturday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Right cards ordered and with a money off voucher bringing the total down a bit :money:!
Better go do something now.......................... xMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary!
So after being on here I finished the ironing and put it away and cleaned the bathrooms. Had enough of cleaning by then so I got dressed and me and DD2 went to Mr A's. Spent £36 and got everything plus some nice treats. Also got some popcorn to watch with Snow Buddies later on after tea.
Then spent £4 in the butchers on sausage and mince.
Ive also sorted out my parking money and DD's dinner money for next week. Im sure my filofax is making me super organised :A.
The kids have just gone to play out which is good that theyre getting some fresh air. I really need to hoover and polish but im sure it will wait until tomorrow.
Thats really all from me for now! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening its me again ha!
I pretty much spent all of the afternoon mooching round on the internet!!
We had our tea which was delicious, picked up some reduced garlic new potatoes in Mr A's, had those with chicken kievs and veg. Then cookies for pudding.
We have decided that we are moving from BT to Sky for our BB and phone. Our offer with BT in just about to end (next week I think), the offer were on at the moment is roughly £28 a month dependant on calls.
Sky is unlimited BB for free for 6 months if you take line rental of £14.50 a month with them. So we will be £13.50 a month better off for 6 months until they add their BB charge on making it £22 a month, so still cheaper. Every little helps! Ive just asked on facebook what the service is like before we move to them!!!!
Think thats all anyway! Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
Hope you enjoyed watching Snow Buddies, my DD loves those sort of films.
Have a good day today xxx0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Just popping on for a quick catch up.
So this morning I took DD to her swimming lesson, shes just been moved up to the next class which is good. Ive also managed to get DD2 in on a Monday evening as this was the only beginners class they had available. Its going to end up costing us quite a bit out of the money that could be paying off the debt but I just need to get her in. Shes terrified of getting in some im hoping she will get some confidence back this way.
Rung BT re cancelling and obviously they did their best to get me to stay but they couldnt beat the price or even get anywhere near it. So im going to give them my 30 days notice and get my MAC code etc for Sky. I should also get a £25 MnS voucher for changing to sky so that will be nice!!
Ive marinated our pork steaks in a sticky sauce stolen from Gino! Ive also made a lasagne for one of the teas this week!
DH is just tidying up, I got as far as the bathrooms yesterday and couldnt be bothered doing anymore!!
Think thats all from me today. NSD3 today :T. Tomorrow will be a spend day as I need petrol for the car.
Have a nice Sunday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy,
Sunday evening already....where did this weekend go??
Perhaps once DD2 starts her swimming a place will come available on a Sunday morning, I'm sure she'll soon overcome her fear, do they get in the pool with them?
Fingers crossed re the M&S voucher.
