  • Sorry you had another bad night, mine was far from successful as well.

Your tea sounds lovely. I haven't had anything yet because I genuinely don't know what I want and I think I'm fed up of eating! Never thought I'd say that!!! :rotfl:

    Morning Diary,

I dont want to start off by whinging but I am absolutely shattered! Must have got overtired, didnt get to sleep until about 12.30 and was up at 5 coughing argh! Definitely going to the drs about this tomorrow as its killing me off! Got up in the end of took some medicine and some calpol as I didnt know where DH had put the paracetamol!

Anyway, im at work determined to have a much more successful day and have replied to a few emails and now im having a rest :).
Can you believe the kids slept in again, DD2 who is the queen of getting up early had the cheek to shout at me "I told you not to wake me up early" haha!!! Il remember that next time she has me up little swine!

Last night I had a right shopping spree and ordered the rest of DD's presents, so she will have 8 presents all within budget :money:. Need to buy a little something for DD1 aswell, as we always buy the other a little something.

Need to walk to Argos probably at lunch time today to take one of the heaters I bought back, will keep the other as a spare.

PLMBL, hope you managed a nice tea in the end!

Right think thats all from me! Have a nice day all xx

  • Sorry to hear you are not well. A cough can be so debilitating, Hope the Dr has something to help you.

Hope work goes well today, I can remember when I used to work having IT problems that would prevent me getting anything done all day. It makes the day go VERY slowly.

Fingers crossed its a more successful day today.

    Steph xx

    Evening diary,

Just doing my first post using dds nexus!! Love laying on the sofa browsing around.

So today was much more productive and I haven't coughed as much so fingers crossed for better sleep.

Left work at 4.30 to take the heater back to Argos which was refunded no issues, it hadn't been used so I didn't think there would be a problem.
Came home, done another load of washing and had chicken salad pittas for tea.

    Today has been nsd2 woohoo!!!
Thinks that's all from me for now, cuppa and hobnobs next.

    Hope everyone's ok xx

    Morning Diary,

Just waiting in for a parcel and then im off into work. Managed to get DD an appointment for 4.10pm so its a pretty short day which is always good for a Friday :D!

Morning Choo and Pennywise, IT in the office sorted thank the lord!
Ive still got the cough but its slowly getting better. Was up at 5am coughing again , luckily managed to nod back off til 7.30 and I was asleep before 10!

So nothing much to report from last night! Ive sorted out a load of whites which I will put in before I go to work.
Tonights tea is a quick tea of a breakfast which no meat as we havent got any :rotfl:!!
I also found some chicken kievs in the freezer so we will have those for tomorrows tea with roast potatoes and veg.

Today will be a spend day as I need to pick up my inhaler from the chemist. I also need some change for parking and I noticed from a flyer that came through the door, the coop have got a really cheap deal on surf washing powder so going to buy that and use my change for parking :money:! Ive decided I am not going to count parking as a spend though as I have to park to be able to work!

After work I think im going to take the tree down and then the living room will be ready for cleaning first thing tomorrow.
DH is finishing off the glossing in the kitchen as tomorrow he is busy with the plumber.

Oh and im on my 3rd day of taking lunch to work... go me haha!!!

    Hope everyones ok xx

Hope you're feeling better today. Did you start your spending diary again? I know I keep harping on about my spending diary on my diary but I'm so determinded to keep it upto date (didn't do too bad last year).

Have a great weekend, the house seems bare when you take the tree down doesn't it. xx

    Evening Diary,

I am absolutely on fire tonight haha!! Took DD to the drs and she got some cream for that. Before id set off from work I got a text from Boots saying my order (1 of DD's presents) was ready to collect so I picked that up at the same time as the prescription and also picked up my inhaler, so 3 jobs in one!!

Came home, cooked tea, put the whites out to dry, put the pinks in to wash (including the girls coats for school on Monday), took the decorations down, hoovered living room, bathed kids... just sat down with cuppa! The kids are absolutely full of it so not putting them up yet as they will just pratt about upstairs. DH is finishing the glossing in the kitchen.

Alice I have started my spending diary in my beautiful filofax! Either tomorrow or Sunday will be NSD3, the other spending day will be shopping and petrol.
Yes the living room is bare and looks huge now!!

Ive had 2 texts one after the other about DD's 2 presents which are due to be delivered. One saying Monday and the other Tuesday. So I am changing them both to Tuesday and working from home to wait in, then thats everything delivered in one day.

I also wanted to mention that I am registered with O2 priority moments, got a text from them today giving me a free cafe nero, so will collect that on Monday if they still have the offer available.
I also have a card full for another free drink from there so thats 2 freebies in January.

Tomorrow I will iron the rest of the pinks that need drying overnight/in the morning and then I will put all the washing away in one go.

Totally loving the organised me at the moment!

    Hope everyones ok xx
