Evening Diary,
Hope everyones had a good boxing day. Im really not feeling very good, my throat is killing yet again and just generally not feeling well. Think il be at the doctors tomorrow.
So today we went to B and Q and spent £71 on paint and everything associated with it! Really we only spent £21 as £50 of it was shopping money which is being replaced with the £50 Mr T's giftcard that DH had! Thats my justification of it haha!!!
DH has just been doing some filling so tomorrow that can be sanded and painted :j. I absolutely cant wait for it all to be done.
Hi Steph, im glad Santa didnt forget me either.
So tomorrow im thinking of taking the kids to soft play so they can let off some steam. If the weathers dry they can just play out here.
We also need to look for flooring, cant believe that vinyl is more expensive than laminate!
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
DH's mum bought me a New Look voucher for Christmas so ive just done my annual order!!!
Bought 2 pairs of shoes, a dress and a hoodie and only had to put £10 towards, love the new look sale!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Feeling better today, think it must be a virus or something.
Well my first target I set myself wont be paid off until February as I forgot to put car tax in the spread sheet , so annoyed right now!!
So today its looking dry here at the moment but not sure how long for.
The house is a tip and DH is going to start the painting so I need to get things out of the kitchen.
I also need to catch up on the ironing, ive been very good at washing it all, now theres a mountain of ironing as tall as me!!!
Im hoping the kids will play out for a bit today and burn off some steam.
Right think thats all, catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Ah shame about the car tax but Feb isn't too far away and it's good you are still on top of things. Brilliant about new clothes and shoes though!
Lucky you with the dry weather! It's been chucking it down all night here and hasn't stopped yet. Think it will be soft play for us this morning! Mine have plenty of steam to let off too.
Ditto with the ironing pile urgh!
Glad you feel better XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi mummy, great deal on the new look order.
How lucky are you with the weather, we've got rain this morning, DS3 and OH currently putting more leg0 together and I've just done my DMP review with CCCS/Step Change.:(
Haven't looked a flooring for ages but I think paint is expensive.....or is everything just seem expensive to me at the moment.
Have you started your spending diary?? I've got a new 'book' to start using in January and I can't wait....sad or what. :rotfl:

Evening Diary,
Just having a break from the painting to have some tea, OMG the painting needs to die haha! Weve been at it all day pretty much. The kids have been good as gold and played out more or less all day so weve been able to crack on.
Im just waiting for DD2 to finish her tea (we are camped in the living room!) and then I need to bath them. DH is back cracking on downstairs again... we will finish tonight .
This morning I managed to get all my ironing done and put away aswell.
Weve had a dominos for tea, cant even see the oven and hob under the dust sheets, so tonights tea of pasta bolognaise will now be tomorrows! Took the money out of one of the shopping envelopes for January... naughty me!!
PLMBL, re the tax we also have £150 that saves as 'spending savings' as DH terms it so I might buy the car tax from that and save just £50!
Alice, we have been really lucky with the weather... its pants now though.
The paint was really expensive! But luckily B&Q had some good offers otherwise we would have spent about £100 in there not £71.
How your DMP thing go?
Ive got my shiny new filofax to track my spends from January!
So tomorrow, I need to do the food shopping and hopefully go and choose some flooring. Weve got £160 max to spend, im hoping we can get it cheaper than this though, but I think I am being very adventageous thinking that!!!
Think thats all from me for now! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Afternoon Diary,
Well talk about a total u-turn in luck just when you are getting somewhere. Got up this morning to a broken boiler, which means no hot water or heating.
This means the money we were using for the flooring now has to be used towards the boiler... cant even tell you how p!ssed off I am! DH has been to the merchants and spent £67 on parts and his friend should be here soon to fix it. Why does this always happen?!
MIL has offered to lend us the money to sort the floor out in the kitchen as really I cant have 18 kids aged 4 sat on a concrete floor for DD's party. I am so grateful that she has offered this and I will take her up on it. Just pushes my targets even further back.
Think thats all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Sorry to hear about your boiler. It's always the way that at this time of year when these machines are under the most strain, they pack up.
MIL's come in handy every now and again don't theyJust keep swimming!0 -
Hi mummy, sorry to hear about the boiler, it was kind of your MIL to offer to pay for the flooring, at least its an interest free loan and you havn't had to put it on a CC.0
