Shucks, well, they'll just have to live with being less blessed in the intellect department ...0 -
I've just ordered a heap of things to get making things with
Not that I have anywhere to put the bits but I'll sort that out erm, sometime.
DS asked me for a DS, the Nintendo kind :rotfl: when I was putting him to bed, he says if I don't have enough pennies he can find some things to put on eBay :A. I'm in a bit of pickle on this one. He asked in such a sweet way so I kinda want to get him one BUT I don't really no if it's such a great idea. He plays on my brother's occassionally so he does know how to use them, sort of. Infact it was being caught playing on my brother's DS, after sneaking it out of his room, at half 6 this morning that's started this whole thing but he's only 3, he should be content with bubbles and footballs and feeding ducks not asking for games consoles!
Have organised a mini 'to-eBay' pile to get TurboListing tomorrow, I WILL get there!0 -
Bless him! A lot of the games are for 3 years and up, if that makes any difference?Virtual sealed pot challenge 2010 member #48~ £72.62:)£10,000 in 2010~ £1177.36/£10,000:D

I'm really not certain yet, I'm thinking I should keep the two seperate and have like sister sites, as someone suggested earlier.0 -

Bless him indeed, he's a great kid, most of the time, i'd give him the world if I could. I think with this one it's more of a test of my willpower, how long I can resist putting it on a credit card. I might just be using the 'he's too young for it' excuse instead of admitting that I probably can't quite afford one right now:( He needs to stop wanting things, we will never get our own place at this rate!! :rotfl:

My DD has a dsi and got it when she was 3. Mainly cos DS got 1 and I knew she would never leave him alone and also beacuse it has the camera and all the photo editing stuff on it. She has used it loads and doesn't even have a game for it!!! I shocked myself because I don't really want them to have games consoles so young but I am happier with the nintendo ones because the stuff you can get for them doesn't have the aggressive feel of the other makes.
DS has spent ours designing puzzles and contraptions on the master mechanics game and solving puzzles on it and that was the only game he had for at least 8 months again he loves the camera and editing and recording snippets of sound/ conversation and changing how it sounds. also he downloaded animal crossing calculator for free with original credits and spent a lot of time playing numbers with it.

Although they only got them because we had a lot of travelling to do for weddings etc last year and my dad gave us some birthday money for all of us that got used onDSi 's for them. Still we've had a go on them too!!“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
