sorry saucy but I'm not sure that it isn't just daft and need to think it through a bit more.
Only thought I should mention cos I don't often talk about anything moneymaking so feeling a bit bad about it.

right, DS has DS (boom boom!) when he was 5, he had been on and on and on for months if not 18 months. We couldn't afford it so I kept saying when you have enough money yourself then you can have one...
well the cheeky whatsit managed to get £100 together from birthday and christmas money... first thing he said when he realised how much he had was 'I can get aDS now MUM!'... I had to give in.... so I bought it as cheap as possible (in true MSE style!) so for £100 he got two games and a DS.... I have to limit the time he plays on it as he would be on there all day if he got the chance.

Yummy,if you can't afford it then tell him to save up and suggest to friends, rellies to give him money rather than presents???

That wa he gets what he wants, you don't put in on CC and he starts to learn about money too....

This is why he said I could eBay his toys, he's already got it all planned out. He already saves whatever pennies he gets... OMG he's better at this than me

Think it's just bad timing really, I have so so much to pay out atm. I'm going to ring my ex up *eeeeek* and see if he still has his knocking around to borrow/buy/steal a little bit. That's about as MSE as I can get with this one I think. If that fails me and DS will be saving up together til bills week(s) are out the way :o

Just managed to catch up! Am determined to try and keep up to date with the new thread lol :D.

Can't believe how sad some people are sheloveshimsomuch! We should be proud of our children, praise their strengths and love them for being them (except when you are yelling at them to be a slightly quieter, less bouncy and tidier version in my case! :rotfl:).

Learnt a bit more about tax expenses so thanks to those who posted about that.

Ebay is driving me bonkers at the moment - got 3 non paying buyers  - would not mind but only sold 15 things. One is from 3 weeks ago where a girl told me her mum was in hospital and would pay at the end of the week & heard nothing for 2 weeks, the other 2 are a week ols and not responding to messages. Going to have to open NPB on all 3.

Hubbie has been off today and driving me NUTS! Complaining about "EBay", rubbish in the spare bedroom, the fact that the day has a Y in it etc etc. He can be so negative at times I wonder why the heck we got married as I am much the opposite (opposites attract hey!).

Saucy - hope you are feeling better soon and where the heck is our KFC.......mmmmmmmmmm............just fancy one of those. :p
