Eeeh how did you get to be so wise so young and are you being ironic about your age as those maths even for a thicky like me dont add up? or is that your waist size:D”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

morning ann and everyone That option to change your number or the device to block the numbers sound good. ive had my number for 25 years now even though Ive moved a lot but in the same area so took it with me'so loath to change it. I have to admit though I am starting to look forward in a strange sick way to the beggers ringing me so i can issue them the statement that nid gave me. Trouble is none of them seem to be ringing me now since I got two of the blighters lst week and this! Never thought i would look forward to DCA's ringing me. I felt sick and shook like a leaf when i did my first one but i have got used to it now. You wouldnt let just anyone walk into your home when they felt like it so why let them ring you. Hope you can get it sorted soon Ann as i know to well how stressfull this business is, but at least you know your not alone anymore and as my owl dad used to say your not the first and you will certainly not be the last. My son laughs at me now when the loan/debt ads come on tv and we both shout DEBT!
Wont be on here long as going for a long walk today with me sarnies and a flask. It helps me cope, seeing a bit of greenery you can have a bit of a think and gets you out of the house cost nowt and you discover your local area on foot as well. I recommend it. Talk later X”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

Mind just a quick note about the walking if anyone does try this remember to walk in semi populated areas i wouldnt go along lonely bridle paths on my own be safe, but it is relaxing and interesting and you feel great when you get back for a long soak in a bubble bath.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

same in Scotland except when you are talking about football, really confusing isn't it. We call children wains as well and that causes all sort of confusion as well, and don't get me started about pokey hats.................More than Two Years in

Morning all,
Glad that you have your broadband back, Jinny! And enjoy your walk - it does work wonders for clearing the head (I have tried it myself many times!) And I am mega impressed with your way of coping with the phone calls - all power to you!
And after the Latin discussion yesterday we are now being educated into Scottish phrases - but not the ones Gordon Brown uses! Is there no end to people's knowledge in this community!
And I refuse to comment on NID's birth year, age, whatever. Suffice it to say he is still very young - at least, compared to me!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

BAIRN a geordie word originally:D
It comes from old Saxon dialects and in commonly heard around Northumberland and the North East of England.
This part of England was colonised by the saxons in the 5th Century and was for a few hundred years the most powerful part of the country. The borders of Northumberland spread from the River Humber in the south as far north as Edinburgh and beyond taking the word bairn and many other words now commonly thought of as Scottish with it.
