Please stop crying now! That's an order!

Just received the post - quite early today for around here! Nothing notable - just two identical letters from Barclaycard stating that they are not going to accept my token payment as it is not high enough (as advised by Payplan and sent off about 4 weeks ago). Even though they had cashed the cheques!

Also - and this did make me laugh - a letter from the halifax asking me to apply for a loan! Think these organisations suffer from the dinosaur effect - it takes thingd absolutely ages to reach their brains!

I probably sound much more assertive than I really am!

And I would love to visit you. Likewise, you are very welcome to visit me during your holidays. It would be good to finally meet you!

I have just finished the chips. Very MSE from Mr A, 4 frozen things for £3. Good for purse but not waistband.

Is it just me? Do other people eat rubbish when they are stressed? Why can't i eat lettuce and carrots? After inspection i am going to start to be healthy again.

  • savingwannabee - are you undergoing an Ofsted inspection?

The school I worked at last was 'overdue' (by about 5 months when I left) and the tension was terrible. Almost every conversation, certainly every staff meeting, began with the words 'when we get the call...'

I wish you the best of luck x

I have heard similar stores of Ofsted inspections. So, don't take it personally!

And I know that this is easier said than done ....

Asda 4 items for £3 includes some frozen veg too - that's slimming!!! But seriously, lots of people eat when they are stressed - they seem to need starch and sweet things not fruit, veg, etc - it is the body getting messsages that there may be problems ahead so it needs to fill it's 'pantry 'ready for the famine'

SW I know what it is like to cry at the slightest thing and to feel everyone is against you and it is not simply a case of 'buck up - look on the bright side' - no matter what they say, and even, as now, when you have something/someone to look forward to, you just can't shake it. I'm sure that your counselling must help and this thread must be a godsend to you - make use of it - I can see the bright happy friendly side of you coming through - day by day the timid one with no confidence will shrink away and you can become your true self. You are a very caring person and very sensitive, that is why you feel things, good and bad so deeply.

Now, that's the heavy stuff out of the way - who's for a nice cup of tea???
