I am very impressed with your knowledge, Jinny.
Presumably Hadrian and his wall is in there somewhere - which is a very neat link to all the comments about Latin!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
wey-aye, Ann I got that when Scottish friends of mine accused Geordies of pinching their word bairn meaning baby. Hadrian's wa-all didnt manage to keep em oot mind (thankfully as i love em really) x”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

I really love the Geordie accent - am I allowed to call it that?
Also, the Scottish one ...."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hi Mouseann
Still following your thread with awe whilst I try to get my own situation sorted out. If you contact BT and tell them you are receiving malicious calls, they will give you a free renumber. They will only do it once but that's all you need !
You have some lovely supportive friends on this thread which is great as in my personal experience, each day is a rollercoaster. Some days I feel really positive and say "bring it on" but the next day I struggle to crawl out from under the duvet.
Never mind, it's pay day tomorrow so I can get all my debts back up to date for a little while until I start to receive replies to my CCA letters.....

Hello all,
Welcome back Jinny. I have just come back from work. I am away for a couple of hours and you have all turned into linguists. Marvellous. Plus we know more about the NID!
Bobby Ball came to visit my old church and he asked if anybody was from the Midlands, i put my hand up and he asked "would you like a kipper tie?" I had never heard that one before.
Anyway off to eat and then quick nap and on with lesson prep!!! Got to go back to teach my nightclass, so i will finish at 9.15!
This time tomorrow i will be being inspected. On Friday night i will be so grateful that it is over. My friend has just been done and was really upset.
Roll on the weekend!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
