Enjoy your weekend with your parents, Savingwannabe,

Missing your little comments already, though!

    Hello poppet and friends,

Am back. My friend was supposed to be going on hols today to Egypt. Of course the holiday has been cancelled due to ash and she is delighted as she is sunbathing in the garden delighted as she has saved £600!!!!! What a lovely day.

I was so tired i fell asleep! What are you all up to?

    Hello Savingwannabe and others,

Haven't been doing very much at all today - went out for a long walk and then read a magazine. Am about to cook some pasta. That's about as exciting as it gets at the moment!

Hope your friend isn't too disappointed about her holiday. This Icelandic ash is certainly mucking up everyone's plans - makes not going anywhere a safe option!

    Morning Savingwannabe,

Yes, it is a lovely morning!

Best of luck with the marking - try to enjoy your parents' visit as well!

Am doing some tidying up in the house this morning - and then I won't feel guilty if I have a lazy afternoon!

I dont believe this. I have nearly finished one lot of marking. I have to find an exam paper to mark and if possible write some reports and i am done.

Why did i stress about this all holiday? What a nut. I think the lovely weather is good for us with all of our problems. I keep looking outside, birdies are singing, it is glorious.

Hi Mouseann and eveyone hope youve all had a good weekend. Ive been sorting out my paperwork to post my debts onto NIDS thread. I am often decluttering its my new hobby-but paper work I tend to hoard-dont wanna deal with it i suppose. Well its taken all weekend (copius glasses of red wine helped) but Ive filled a bin bag with paper rubbish, it can go in the recycle as most of it doesnt need shredding first. Feel light as a feather sorting that lot out, gonna catch up with the telly I missed last night and relaxavois.

Just popping in to check on you, you sound like a new woman!!! NiD must definitely be wearing his underpants over his trousers now.......... Lucky you with the sunshine, its been much colder to-day so no sunbathing here but I have had a huge clearout and have a huge pile for Ebaying, plus wardrobes are sorted out.
Have a good evening and if you are still wanting to find some stuff to do, I have a very large ironing pile......................
