Hi mouseann, have you been over to the Old Style board yet? Lots of interesting ideas on there. I like that board very much."The purpose of Life is to spread and create Happiness" :j0

Hello all,
Glad that you are having a good "sort out" Jinny.
I feel guilty about relaxing today but I think that tomorrow there may well be a stack of post to deal with, so am bracing myself for that.
Glad that you are not stressed about work, Savingwannabe. Hope tomorow goes well for you - you do sound as if you have done everything possible to prepare, which must help!
And as for NID - I think he is at least saving the planet! Wonder if he is any good at getting rid of all that volcano ash!
Have decided that I am a disaster on Ebay! Have sold some stuff but under-estimated the postage charges for about 3 things! As they didn't sell for very much, I think I have made about 50p on each item! Oh well, at least I don't have to give them house room any more! I think this is called learning the hard way!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Thanks Zarazara,
Yes, I certainly have looked at the Old Style board and am very impressed by the money-saving ideas I would never have thought of!
Will keep reading them for tips - and make sure that my next venture into Ebay is more sensible!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Dont worry me too. I have sold cd albums that cost me £17.99 for 50p!!!! Still i am clearing space. It has made me realise how much i have wasted in the past on unecessary things!
At least i know for the future.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Good point!
And good to know I am not the only one to do daft things like that!
But, as you so rightly say, it does give extra space.
What with this, and the recorded delivery letters, I am becoming a regular at my local Post Office!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Good. I find it is a way to get exercise. Just think of how much you have acheived in such a short space of time. It is incredible. I am really chuffed with you.
Do you think NID wears blue tights like Superan????? i am laughing at what pure dead dopey said.
Thank goodness for good people like that.
off for supper.
:j

I need it for the times when I am feeling down ... (which isn't as much as it was a couple of weeks ago)"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
