Thanks NID (now I know you are a bloke!)
I did think that the response from Barclays was quite a standard letter as it arrived quite quickly.
And I do disagree re fan clubs - I can't help but admire the way you have devoted all this time to help me, not to mention your knowledge.

Hi Savingwannabe,
I did watch the debates - just about managed to keep awake!
I thought David Cameron was absolutely dire - he just sounded like a lengthy party political broadcast!
Funny that you are not looking forward to going back to work. It is only since I left that I have realised how much I miss it - and not just the money!
However, I now have a crusade to keep me occupied, supported by all the lovely people on this discussion board! Feels like a whole new set of friends."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Morning Mouseann
Looks like good news one down and all that. Just keep going with Frederich and you'll be fine. Off to do some work as taking a crowd of clients out on hospitality later, on a Friday night which is pushing my good nature, onward and upward...............More than Two Years in

Hello mouseann
I love teaching. I love my students and my subject. I was bullied by the staff in my dept when i started at my workplace so i dread going back. I am not very assertive at all. Plus i am a workaholic and i am have been trying to learn to have a life and it is really hard as all i have ever done is work.
This is one of the only holidays i have ever had where i haven't worked. Even when i go out with my friends (only in the hols - every 6 weeks) i can feel a clock saying tick tock reminding me to do some work. Dr says i must stop it and rest more. I have tried really hard this holiday. Wierd aren't i???
Weather is glorious. I must mow back garden today and do marking. It was hard doing the front but the back garden is big. Still, i will feel fantastic when i finish.
What are you doing today ann?
I hope you are reading a book in the garden or something nice.
big hugs,

Hi Savingwannabe,
Based on hind-sight (rather than experience!) I would strongly that you try to get a live out of work! Easier said than done, I know - especially if you have a challenging job which makes you feel valued.
But - when you do eventually give up you realise that there is a huge gap! Think I would be feeling the same even if I was comfortably off - not sure if it would apply if I was filthy rich!
You never know, perhaps the people who are making life difficult may decide to leave themselves!
Am having a quiet day - supermarket shopping and housework - both boring but necessary!
Will read a book when I have finished ....."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
You are right. Work cannot get any worse. I am just grinning and bearing it and dreaming of when my house is beautiful.
I am having a lovely lazy day. I was supposed to go to post office to post 2 ebay items. I will do this tomorrow instead. I am tidying kitchen, I haven't opened some drawers for ages! and then mowing grass. Weather lovely.
Am waiting to watch Escape to the Country. It starts at 3.
Am not bothering with marking will look at it tomorrow!!!
I cannot believe how wonderful weather is. Volcano erruptions aren't affecting us here i dont think but then i am not flying. I am so glad it only rained for a few days. Sunny weather always cheers me up!
Firewalker (on this section of MSE) is doing a marathon today in Brighton. Fabulous!
big hugs,

mouseann wrote:Have just received the post today, which brought two more letters from Barclaycard, referring to other accounts I have them. I have not scanned them because they are identical to the ones I received yesterday!
As with the other account, just wait and see what they deliver and update me please?mouseann wrote:which related to a former Morgan Stanley Card, DID contain a signed agreement - for someone else!
I'll come back to this later - over the weekend ok?mouseann wrote:Also, M&S have sent an authorisation form for me to sign and return, which I will do.
NO! You do not sign an authorisation form - no need (you do not sign anything or they will cut/paste it onto a blank document, yes they do do this!). You respond with this letter here: Demand of your Signaturemouseann wrote:Does this mean that they are more efficient and that this will be enforceable.
Nope, not at all. I have already told you, i'll leave you with maybe 3 or 4 accounts at the end of this, the rest will be unenforceable and if not, i'll find fault to make them unenforceable!
Happy? You should be2010 - year of the troll

Thanks NID,
I am sooo grateful - and happy!!
Will send out the request letter - don't think I have any friends in whom I can confide enough to ask them to sign the document for me!
Sorry to keep asking so many questions and treating you like my personal resource! I AM learning and doing exactly as you ask!
Thanks again for all your time and patience."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

I am your personal resource right now, until at least this is cleared up - feel free to PM/Email/Call if you get hassle over anything and i'll sort it for you Ann. No problem.....
Never sign in handwriting, just pick a fancy font to use and change the text "sign digitally" to your name..... as the above template proves, they do not need your signature, if they demand it then we'll have em in front of the ICO for the current breach of s.7(sch.1) DPA by divulging statements to an unknown insecure address.....
See the logic in all this now? We NEED them to dig their own grave!2010 - year of the troll

Thanks NID - yet again!
Am gradually seeing the logic - have just written the letter to M&S for posting tomorrow. And I did change the "sign digitally" to a typed version of my name -evil grin!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0
