hehe - ross county! Love it (wind Jinky up - she's a mad tim) :rotfl:

How can a bank "accidentally pay off your loan" exactly? But if they paid it off for you, thus clearing your agreement then yea, you can refuse to take a new one out - or they would do this with every customer to alleviate unenforceability in its entirety.

However you'll find legally, as you knew you owed the funds and due to it being a mistake, you do owe the money but it must be at the old terms and you would not be required to sign anything either - so long as you continue to pay that is the main thing.

Tell me more (PM if you want) - if it involves unethical stuff that others may sneer at ;)

Quite right, I came because I was horrified at what I was reading about - I just missed it for a while cos i'm not that vain to go search for myself :rotfl::rotfl:

Course you're knowledgeable, tsk - we all have our own knowledge and sometimes a quick hello can be the same as someone answering in detail, its the fact you bothered that counts.... but you do know your !!!!!! - i've spoken to you for too long already ;);)

I was just passing by the loan board and a guy there has posted that the bank paid funds into the wrong account thus clearing his car loan. I was just curious to find out if he would have to keep paying or not.

Nothing unethical I'm afraid...sorry to disappoint you! :D
