Providing that its unenforceable. I said no disrepect and clearly you have a chip on your shoulders.

Its not disrespectful, i've not got any chip but why oh why are people being so rude to the OP? I mean you offered to help her just 2 minutes ago and then you're saying well said in ref to idiotballz? Ermm, ok - so you're saying he is right to call the OP names yea? Jesus....
Regards to the respect thing, you came on trying to undermine what i'd advised, trust me it is a tried and proven method and when I say do not SAR for XX reason, the last thing I need is a half-hearted response. Do you not think the poor OP has been through enough? Sending in a sar does not give a lender immunity to harass - you clearly do not understand what you're trying to preach.
The CCA protects the customer/debtor - the ICO (DPA) have no powers and so what is the point?
I apologise if I sounded harsh but please don;t confuse things any more... we've gone round in circles for what, 10 pages? Ive come on today and the OP already feels better, has a clear route to proceed with and will win this. so 10 posts were all that was required, not 10 pages of messing around!

Nah I am not going to go there. We're all here to help. Please chill lol.0 -
What?!!:rotfl: Jeez, I am saying what the OP said in return to 'idiotballz' was very well said.
Nah I am not going to go there. We're all here to help. Please chill.
Sorry I misread that part, you're right I see that now - i.e. shurrup fattyballz... hehe:o
I'm just saying that a sar really isn't going to help, please trust me yea? I will not let the OP get done over here, i'll be watching this with her every step of the way....:D

Morning Mouseann - got a bit heated last night I see!
Just as an aside - it's great that you are getting help getting rid of the debts, but have you drawn up a budget going forward?
You have obviously lived beyond your means for a long time - and I mean no disrespect to you as I certainly have tooHowever, going through the pain of having to repay it, has meant I have fundamentally changed my spending habits and attitude to money. But you won't have this.....
Reading your story is a scary wake-up call for me and probably many others - but I have (hopefully) many working years ahead of me. This is in no way a criticism, but I think you should address this asap. The MS Old Style board is brilliant and has 1000's of money saving ideas. There are also many other boards with loads of ways to save/make money and help you to make your pension stretch further.
All I'm saying is - it's hard to change and the sooner you start the better your retirement will be. Take care, glad you've got a solution and excellent support0 -
Morning Mouseann
Hope your ok this morning?
I'm glad NID is helping you out and clearly knows the best way forward for you.

Morning everybody,
Thanks to everybody for all the messages of support. They were greatly appreciated. I still think that this is great community and still feel an overwhelming sense of support.
I have noted your comments, macgirl. I can certainly confirm that, yes, I was living beyond my means for a few years but have seriously cut back on everything for the last year, to an extent that I am almost frightened to buy anything, including food! Which is all I will be buying. So, if I do manage to come out of the situation OK I have learnt my lesson and will just be so much more careful in the future!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Morning Mouseann
just caught up and yes it did get a bit heated last night, some people just can't resist. Stick with NID and he'll get you through. I am in my fifties and had a slightly earlier LBM than you, so I totally understand how easy it was to live they way you did, cos we lived that way too. and I don't mean the high life, just the slightly higher life than we could actually afford. So this is the start of a whole new way of life for you and I'll keep popping in and watching how successfully you handle it all. Go get them girl.......................More than Two Years in

Bless you for those comments, Pure Dead Dopey,
Since last night I am very apprehensive about logging in and reading any new posts, so it was quite reassuring to read something so supportive.
Any going tobe very careful of the wording of any further postings now, though!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0
