Wish I could joint you in a glass!

I take it the quiz night went well for your team?

Evening everyone..... Who's shouting for who then? Me, sat right in the middle of the fence cos it really doesn't bother me lol. Labour, get a new leader. Tories, get a new leader - then you may get my vote!

The rest, pointless dwelling me thinks.

I am a loony leftie. Partly because i went to a very right wing conservative school in the Thatcher era and raised myself on the Observer newspaper. I am the only token Labour voter where i live. Realistically they havent a chance but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

    Evening NID,

Apart from wishing I hadn't bothered to turn our (for obvious reasons!) I think I will join you on that fence!

I felt I needed to vote because of the suffragettes but when I actually got into the polling booth (after my slight mishap!) the ballot paper just looked blurry! I did manage to find the Lib Dem on the sheet, though - there seemed so many obscure parties!

I agree re the leaders - apart from Nick Clegg. He has been impressive - and NOT because he is the best looking (even though he is!)

Don't really want the Tories and smug Cameron to get in. Think the Tories will be bad news for people on a pension. And who can really forget Thatcher? So, a bit precarious on that fence!

    SW,

Funny, you got in before me!

I was also going on about Thatcher!

She left her mark - not sure it was a good one!

Am now going to watch "Outnumbered" before the action gets going!

I quite like the Lib Dems I shan't mind at all if they get in. Whichever party wins out of the three is bad news really as we are in a dreadful financial situation. Cuts have to be made everywhere which will cause misery for lots more people. Yuk.

SW - Thanks for reminding me about Outnumbered! Since I've stopped buying a paper I haven't got a clue whats on TV.

Ann - our quiz team (me & my dad!) had a very productive night last night - won £15 of 'beer tokens' in the quiz, £10 of beer tokens in the bingo and a bottle of wine. Plus we had 'spare' tokens that had to be spent last night-hence the 2 small bottles of wine!

Is there any room for me on the fence? I don't usually think too much about who to vote for (but I always vote). This time....

SW - I'm usually LibDem but I DON'T want the Euro!!

    Hi all,

Have just watched "Outnumbered". It was absolutely hilarious - trouble is, if you laugh for too long you miss the next joke! Anyway, it cheered me up!

I am assuming that you are all glued to the telly - the exit polls are predicting a hung Parliament, with the Tories not getting enough to stop Brown "clinging on". Having said that I don't like the Tories, I also think it is time for Brown to go!

The BBC are going to be wheeling out their usual array of celebrities to comment on the results - and I am sure that they said the list included BRUCE FORSYTH!! I really didn't have him down as an intellectual!

Will keep commenting on here - regardless of whether there is anyone out there!

Am now going to open a bottle of wine myself ....
