Hi SW - we are staying up all night now as we normally get up around 6 or 6.30 am on Friday anyway - things are getting exciting

At least Jacqui Smith has been booted out - she always seems like she is looking down on people - especially after the expenses scandal

Mr Dimbleby looks great. He is carrying on looking really dignified but i am distraught.

I am scared, want to hug Neil Kinnock, where is he when i want him?

Ok - we made it right through the night  - we are still here, the country is still here, the world is still here - and more importantly the car boot and Tesco are still here - so off we go - be back later

Mind you, I think I might be having a little nap this afternoon ;);)

Morning all, 3 Dogs you must get some kind of award for this!

Well done for keeping us posted!!!!

I don't feel so bad today. Yet. I just panicked.

Please let our country be ok. I do love living here.

Morning, those of you who are up.

Typical! Most nights I toss and turn and up half the night. Last night, when I wanted to be up after a couple of hours sleep? Slept like a baby!!

Not sure what to make of the election news. On tv they're talking of having another election in 8-9 months time!

    Morning all,

    3Dogs has the record!

I gave up at around 5:00 a.m. - mind you, it was daylight and I heard the dawn chorus when I went to bed.

Have just surfaced feeling absolutely worn out - my fault! Need to mainline black coffee as I am off to the garage soon.

But - have turned on the telly. What an absolute fiasco! Who is going to be Prime Minister? And what about all those poor people who could not get into vote? And no-one on the telly can predict what is going to happen! They keep going on about the constitution - but haven't really got a clue what they mean!

Riveting stuff! I bet we get another election before the year is out! Wonder how Labour would do without Brown?

    Gosh this is fascinating stuff.

You must be exhausted my friend. You must take it easy today. The politicians did not get any sleep last night. They must be tired too.

Where is the NID? Probably rescuing cats from trees!!!

    Thanks SW,

Yes, the NID is very quiet!

Am sure he will be around soon.

The telly people are now talking about a coalition between Labour and the Lib Dems.

What a rollercoaster - feels a bit like my entire life at the moment!
