ooooh, sorry i took so long to reply. My poor next door neighbour had locked herself out and i made her a cup of tea. She has just rung her daughter who has arrived with a key.

Sweetie pie, your roller coaster is going to have a happy ending. So don't worry. Off to get ready for work. Speak soon.

A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous woman sitting at the next table. He has been noticing her since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her.

Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket toward the man. He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back.

'Oh my, I am so sorry,' the woman says as she pops her eye back in place.

'Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,' she says.

They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and

    He shares his. She listens.

After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.

The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy is amazed. Everything had been SO incredible!

'You know,' he said, 'you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet?'

    'No,' she replies. . .

    Wait for it. .

    It's coming.

The suspense is killing you, isn't it?

    She says:

'You just happened to catch my eye.'

    Speak soon,

Morning all..... i'm here, been up most the night but woke to see the liklihood of a hung parliament - arghhhh! Nooooo.

We need a change, although I hate cameron (swarmy little beggar) I do think we need to give them a chance. I suspect the Lib Dems are already aware their seats mean little to the Labour camp so they will soon try and buddy up with Tories.... even so, we should allow the boys in blue a crack at the country reigns!!

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi NID,

I fully agree - and with your description of Cameron! However, they DID get the most votes so, in the interests of democracy, surely he should be given that chance. And we would probably have another election quite soon - have already decided to walk to the polling station that day!

But, from what I have seen on the telly it looks as if Brown is going to hang for grim death!

    Hi Ann

I've been chatting about this over here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2443081

You'll see I want Tories in but i'm dubious as to whether I want them as a minority or as a shared gvmt with Libbies or whatever.... hmmmm, dilemma's :D:D

Back later tonight, have a nice day everyone. :p

    SW,

This is awful! But it made me laugh!

The telly people are now saying that the Queen is not going to come to London which means that Brown isn't going to resign. And Jeremy Paxman is still up and on the telly.

Have just got back after getting an estimate for my car. Am now going to write a letter to the insurance company complaining about the hike in my excess and the fact that I did not get adequate notification. I have checked all my documents.

I am really learning from Niddy. And I only have the price of a stamp to lose!

They can meet the Queen after 1pm today - but there is no rush, so long as it is sorted by the 25th, when parliament re-opens. :D

Nooo - HE has to convince her that as a minority losing power they can perform and govern the country. However Tories will do the same, and as the minority (but voted stronger party) - they will probably be allowed "in" as a minority. click the link I posted as I explain it in detail over there - from my basic knowledge of elections, but I do suspect we'll see Tories in power before too long - with DC as PM as well. :D

The Queen opts for whatever is best for the country - she has no personal involvement other than to authorise a minority to overpower the current PM, in theory.

If the Conservatives and Lib dems get together they will have a majority. Can they do that?
