That's a wonderful outlook, Jinny! Let's hope your water is right!
I hope i dont come over as a pollyanna type or like Julie Andrews singing "My favourite things" from the Sound of Music:rotfl: cos believe me Ive have my share of troubles. Thats how i ended up in debt by trying to make myself feel better on the buy now pay loads later diet. After years of family therapy, the most useful advice given to me was, that each day is only 24hrs long get through it-then start again each morning. That said, Im off to have a medicinal brandy in your honour to steady me nerves!!!!!:)

Thank you everyone for those kind words,

SW - as caring as ever. And you are right, no lasting damage!

Jinny - I would never accuse you of being "Pollyannalike". I know from previous posts that you have had your share of hard knocks, and you never keep on about them! And I totally understand about the "retail therapy" cure - except it isn't a cure when the bills for the plastic roll in!

And Carol - thanks for the kind words, as well.

I knew I would get support from my friends on here!

That is why they are called accidents and not meant to happens!

(Well that's what my sister told me when I did something very similar)

It is only a bit of bent metal and you are still in one piece, which is the most important thing :)

    Thanks MatyMoo,

Very wise words! And you are right about it only being a bit of metal - which is just a little more bent than normal!

And I am sure I am not the only one to do such a stupid thing!

Am feeling slightly less stressed now - gradually getting back to normal!

Yet another test of how strong I am - mustn't crumble under this!

But if NID was standing for election it would be a landslide for him!!!

    Hi Pixiechick,

Just got round to replying to this.

I would second this - I am sure NID could give all the politicians a run for their money! But - if he was running the country he wouldn't be able to help all us "pensioners in need" (apologies to those who are still working!) So, on reflection, best that he stays where he is!

My nightclass finished early as the students finished an exam paper quickly. I came home to watch the news as it is all so exciting. Are you feeling better Ann?

    Hi SW,

Glad that you managed to finish early.

The excitement (if it can be described as that!) doesn't start for a couple of hours - at least!

And, yes thanks, I have hada bit of a rest and am much less stressed. It all goes into perspective eventually!
